Very good point made above. You won't get what you want all the time, but you just may get what you need, or the answer will come to you in a different way than what you wanted. For instance, I prayed that this irritating girl at work would quit. Guess what she did! Whoohoo. That is until this more annoying person took her position. So ok, what is the lesson here. I guess I have to learn how to deal with annoying people, as much as I would prefer to just smack them upside the head.

Serves me right. I was the kid praying for you NOT to get a bicycle...then I had my own bicycle stolen.

Believe it or not, I found that to be quite funny.....lol

Should have kept praying though...........He does provide us with exactly what we need....and not necessarily what we want
