The country is America, the United States. The book is the Old Testament, in English, without the New Testament.

I don't know what country you are in, but in the US there are lots of editions of the Old Testament. I would expect that to be true in most countries with significant Jewish polulations. However, the title of the book will probably not be "Old Testament"!

What country do you live in? There are millions of copies of the Old Testament and the New Testament here in the US

The new testament is better and is an upgrade and has fewer bugs. Just think of it as a newer version of that old worn out Old testament. When in doubt upgrade. You can probably find a copy of the Old Testament on the internet. I am sure there is a copy of one online here. They got damn near everything online. Especially when it comes to religion, sex, or politics.

Uh, Sure you can! Versions available from Nelson, Zondervan and renn publishing. There are even copies of The Torah that are around. Harder to come by but they're available. you can get just the New, Just Psalms, Just Proverbs. There is actually quite a choice. You may have to contact certain places and see if they have them but they're available.

God Bless!

Which country?

You can't buy non-Muslim religious books in most Muslim countries, but that's the only laws against it that I know of.
