I hope not. Atheism is a good thing. Everyone should at least consider it.
Think about it.

Jesus made two rules for Christians. First, love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and might. Second, love your neighbor as yourself. This is straight out of the Bible and it doesn't get much clearer. All people who want to be Christians can be Christians and Jesus welcomes and loves you just as you are.
There's just two things that I'd like to add for those who believe otherwise - let he who is without sin cast the first stone and judge not lest ye be judged.

Absolutely. Contrary to popular belief, even Christians are not perfect. We live in a sin world, where everyone will sin. But, having a relationship with Jesus gives us a desire to change the things about us that are wrong. Do we still fall to temptation, Yes. Each person will have to account for their own lives. We should not judge others since we will also be judged.

Absolutely.
The requirements are:
1. Believe in your heart that Jesus is the only begotten son of God
2. Believe in your heart that Jesus is the Christ, that He was killed and rose again from the dead
3. Accept Jesus as your personal savior
4. Tell other people about Him and the way of grace.
EDIT:
9 The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (New Living Translation)
I prefer the KJV
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I am a Christian. I know that anyone who asks God for forgiveness of their sins, and accepts Jesus as their personal Saviour will be saved. At that point, they should strive not to repeat sins, and especially not to continue doing a particular sin over and over.
The homosexual act is a sin. If I am a thief and get saved, I would give up stealing, because my desire is to please God. So, if you become a Christian, you need to be prepared to stop committing the homosexual act, or else you will be flaunting your sin to God.

well, sure but you'd have to repent your "sin" and "sin" no more. which means if you're a gay person you'd have to be celibate for the rest of your life unless you could manage to become hetero and get married to a person of the opposite gender.
PS. i don't know why any gay person would want anything to do with Christianity. just look at some of these Christian answers. they equate non-hetero gender proclivity to murder, rape, theft and lying.

All people are crooked.
That is...all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and are justified freely by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Requirements for being a Christian...?
1) You must recognize that you ARE a sinner in need of salvation...and that in and of yourself, there is no way for you to earn or merit you way to heaven, but instead are doomed to die and go to hell...
2) You must believe the Gospel - which is the good news...that although we are sinners and deserve hell...and are otherwise doomed for hell, God became man - Jesus Christ - and died for our sins, rose from the dead...and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
-
In Heaven, there will be no sin.
Again, in Heaven, nothing will be "crooked".
In heaven, we will not have sex...or be "married"...but will be one with God - which will be infinitely better than sex. Sex is the symbol of being one with another person...representing the reality of being one with God in heaven. That's why sex is so awesome...for God and heaven are infinitely more awesome.
-
Homosexuality and Heterosexuality and Bisexuality are not Biblical words or concepts.
What is Biblical is that we, humans, have physical desires...lusts. And when we lust for another, we sin. As Jesus said: "You have heard that it was said, 'you shall not commit adultery'. But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Our society has messed with our brains to the point in which we see "homosexuals" as another species, or something...
Can a caucasian be a Christian? An African American? A person with blue eyes?
Or, more poignantly:
If I committed adultery...would that make me an "adulterosexual"?
Almost no one who gets married ever plans on having an extra-marital affair. In fact, to most at the altar...gazing in their loved one's eyes...adultery is almost inconceivable for them. But later...lusts abound. They don't want to have sex outside of the marriage on one hand...but on the other hand, they strongly desire it when another attractive person comes into their life. They didn't actively choose to be an adulterosexual...but, consumed by their lustful desires...they "mess up".
-
The real deal is that there is no such thing as an adulterosexual or a homosexual...only fallen people, who have inner desires. We ALL have evil desires in our hearts at one time, or another...
This does not preclude us from being a Christian...if anything, it primes us for seeing ourselves in need of a Savior.
-
For a Christian, however, to go on sinning (no matter what the sin)...with absolutely no guilt, no regret, no repentance...is evidence that either they are pathetically ignorant of the God and His ways and His holiness...or deceived by the enemy...or simply a "Christian" on paper only (i.e. not in the heart).
For the paper part, "anybody" can call themselves a Christian, nowadays...and find a "church" that will accept them. Of course, the whole lot of them may be on a boat with a one-way ticket to hell...but that's a different topic.
-
Grace and peace in Christ!

I am a Bisexual Christian.
That bothers a lot of people, but that's what I am. I say it not to seem defiant to God, but defiant to those who would say otherwise. God loves me and I am grateful for His salvation that I have through Christ.
Jesus told us how to be saved:
17 "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
And so I believe. I am not condemned because like Abraham:
6 Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
( Galatians 3 )
As I do as well.
So please note that the Christian who are saying that you cannot be Gay and saved, or Transsexual and be saved, or Lesbian and be saved, or that there are just some people who are too much of a sinner to be saved; Those Christians are totally wrong and it's by the Bible that it says so, and through the Holy Spirit that is says so.
So as in the times of Jesus on Earth, the religious people had the most difficult time with him. Commonly, the Pharisees were the ones who hated him, and rejected him. And so we have the same thing today. The Christians who act like Pharisees want to make the Gospel for only the 'righteous'. Or those they can approve of.
That is not what I get from Jesus, who noted the Pharisees perceived 'righteousness' and said:
20 "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
( Matthew 5 )
So without faith it is impossible to please God, and I trust God for what he said. And this is what he said:
The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one."
( John 10 )
So no matter what the devil has put in the minds of those other Christians, I will trust in the Lord.

YES! They can and don't you dare let anyone disuade you on that!
When The Word says "Whosoever" it means just that. Let God work out the other things. Just turn your heart over to Him and He WILL LEAD. Okay?
God Bless you and guide you into His Truth
