I've heard Christians claim that while God has knowledge of the future, he doesn't interfere. Does this argument successfully reconcile omniscience and free will?

No offense meant because I asked this question to a muslim friend but he didnt speak and neither greeted me anymore.
Well, Catholic is best described by one word - IDOLATRY, Protestants - SCHISM.

i quote "do not judge".

so why do you go around telling us athesits, muslims, hindus, sihks, buddhists, jews, satanists, spiritualists, homosexuals, rastafarian, pastafarian (RAmen my noodly brothers!), cult members and scientists that we are all going to burn in hell? isnt that rather contradictory of "do not judge, love thy neighbour" etc etc?

and dont pretend that you didnt read this either....

Sir Isaac Newton:
The theory of Gravity

Galileo:
Father of physics and the father of science

Georges Lemaître:
First proposed the Big Bang Theory

Gregor Mendel:
Father of modern genetics

All of these people were religious. I am quite sure that they were not brain washed, idiots, or gullible. They surely knew when to seperate science from religion and when it is reasonable to combine them. Yet some assume that a theist cannot grasp science, or that it will confuse them. Well how do you explain these men who were theists?

I really don't get it...

You believe the Bible is true, not because of evidence but, because of faith. And you believe things that are ONLY mentioned in the Bible (like the Christian God), not because of evidence but, because of faith. And you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, not because of evidence but, because the Bible says so. And you believe the word of God is true, not because of evidence but, because the Bible says so. And you believe whatever God says is true, not because of evidence but, because the Bible says so... or is it because of faith.

I'm sorry, but I'm STILL confused. Can you help me understand?

someone told me that the bible said dont believe scientists cuz they are fool..

so it is kinda annoy me sometime because if many ppl out there believe there is a God but why they go to see doctors to get meds. or whatever (part of science who found out by scientists).. so why bother asking scientists to get something to make u stay alive.. just ask God to help u?
if u go see doctors or whatever that relate to scientists.. look like u break the bible's rule

The RR says that it works, it clearly does not, their plan only works if people reject their human needs for sex, which they do not and will not, they only effective way to prevent teen pregnancies would be to build two giant school-jails and keep the sexes apart. Then there could be online dating till marriage. When will they final admit that knowledge, not Jesus is power.

Pigs are more similar to humans than we think...

- Same size torso.
- Some internal organs are almost identical.
- Similar hearts.
- Pigs on an operating table respond similar to humans.
- Pigs are being used for human spare parts in the US.
- Research in pigs brains are conducted to unravel the mysteries of the human mind.
- Pigs can solve complex problems better than Chimps.
- Pigs are affected by traumatic events in their early childhood.
- Pig Stem Cells are to be used to grow human organs.

It makes me shiver to think that eating pigs is like eating humans, but as techology progresses, we find a lot more similarities between both living species.

Maybe there is something to think about when you eat your next ham and bacon meal. 80 million tons of pork is consumed yearly worldwide.

However, practicing Muslims and Jews don't eat pig products, as commanded to them by God...so, there may just be some logic in that...!

What do you think?

Let me give you some background info first. I attended a church for 15 years. During that time I volunteered endlessly and gave of myself, often sacrificing family time to do so. I had few needs but there came a time my mother passed away, not one friend came from church. Just the retired part time pastor and his wife. My actual pastor did not call, visit or attend the funeral. It was very sad not to receive that support.

I forgave and moved forward. Then a year ago my husband was seriously ill, needed more than one surgery. I put in prayer requests and not once did my pastor call. One of his associates did but they never followed up and eventually they left the church. I put in another prayer request when things got worse and my pastor never phoned me.

During this time I was volunteering at the church every week, he would see me and walk right on by. A friend commented on how disgusted she was by him and his behavior and she and her husband left the church.

make such a blanket statement as: "I like catholics more than protestants". Wouldn't this world be just a little better if people were looked upon as individuals?

I want to hear from all religions...if you don't have a religion then but believe you go somewhere when you die, then tell me what I have to do to get to that place. Looking for serious answers only please.

I mean think about it. There are literally Tens of THOUSANDS of Gods, Spirits, Faeries, Elves, and other mythological creatures than neither the Christians NOR the atheists believe in (well, some atheists believe in the faeries, but most don't). If you get really down to it, we both Agree on just so MANY different religions and traditions....being wrong.

I mean, we really agree a LOT more than most people think.

Can't we just be friends and get along, taking solace in how silly those Quetzalcoatl believers are/were?

God can do all things?

God can do all things that are logically possible?

God can do all things that are logically possible as long as they do not conflict with his holy nature?

If not, then perhaps you should redefine "theist" as "one that believed that there is a power greater (or equal to) himself"... then we'd all be theists... This is sooooo confusing!

What can change the mind of a killer. If he thinks there is no God, what can stop him from being evil. Can someone really repent whithout believing that there is a God. The atheist says "Nothing condems him, the bible is not real". What hope of redemtion the society gives to this kind of person.
