can someone give me teh actual verse in teh bible where it says people goe to heaven when we die?

Acts 2:27-35; John 3:13-27;

It says, Jesus ascended and no one but him went to heaven, back where he came from.

Jesus sits at God's right hand until his enemies are cast down under foot and then the heavenly can be raised up. Rev.14:1-6.7; A certain number.

The idea that people go to heaven when they die is a docrtine that appeals to the masses. Organized religion is just like any other business...they want 'customers'. Promising heaven as the 'reward of the saved' is a great selling point.

But, that's not the plan of God. He has something much better than "rolling around heaven all day", "living in a mansion" , and "throwing chicken bones at the devil".

1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,Nor have entered into the heart of manThe things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

No, it doesn't say that all good people go to heaven when they die. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says "the dead are conscious of nothing at all."
Psalms 37:11; "But the meek ones themselves will possess the EARTH, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."
