He hanged himself.
"And throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself." (Matthew 27:5)
He fell, and burst open and all his bowels gushed out.
"And falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out." (Acts 1:18)
I was wondering which one was it?

I'd never known the term "athiest" before I came to Yahoo answers. Based on the claims of Y!A users, it seems that athiests are evil people who eat babies, steal the faith of religious people, and generally do lots of bad stuff.

Atheists, on the other hand, simply don't believe in God.

Why do people keep confusing the terms?

Of course, no person shall know the hour, day, or year in which Christ will return.

But we have certainly seen many things in recent years that seem to correspond to events and scenarios detailed in prophecies found in the Bible.

But then, maybe these things I am talking about, such as wars, famine, earthquakes, etc, have always been with us.

What do you think? Do you ever speculate that we might be living in the end times?

Yes - "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30)
No - "The Father is greater than I." (John 14:28)
I just hate it when I find contradictions like this in the bible! Grrrr.

Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all . . . All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol,* the place to which you are going.” (If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain.) (*“Sheol,” AS, RS, NE, JB; “the grave,” KJ, Kx; “hell,” Dy; “the world of the dead,” TEV.)

Ps. 146:4: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts* do perish.” (*“Thoughts,” KJ, 145:4 in Dy; “schemes,” JB; “plans,” RS, TEV.)

If this is true this would discount eternal pain in hell

This is amazing but, the other day i was looking for a clinic and I accidently ended up at a nursing home. While i was in there i striked up a conversation with some of the residents in the nursing home. My heart was broken into pieces after finding out that many of them do not have family or anyone who visits them and that daily they feel lonely and abandoned. I know it was God who sent me there to visit with them. How about you is God calling you to visit those that feel lonely or abandoned?

Christains, spiritualists, Hindus, etc. all put questions on this site. Don't they know whe don't all see eye to eye? Why can't they give the New Age people they're own room to discuss topics and not be judged by right wing neo con christians who hate us? They have a room for bullfighting, is that really an important subject?
