There is a reason that morality is not being taught today?

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But please read this.....

Jer 23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words (the Law and the Prophets), then they whould have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Yahweh knows that His ways would bring peace to the world and stop all crime.

Why do you think that Satan has taken away every single law that was inspired by Yahweh? It makes those who work for Satan rich.

The prison system is a multi-billion dollar a year industry, do you think that those who are overseeing it want them to be abolished even to their damnation? No.

What makes you think there would be decline in criminal activity? There wasn't a decline, in the places where they are posted. It won't do anything to the crime rate because it doesn't do anything about the crime rate! Do you really thing that if it's posted all over all of sudden people are going to follow it? Besides, Only 2, 2 of the commandments are against society's laws.

Funny that you say that because I totally agree. The ten commandments are engraved in every US Supreme Court hallway and passageway throughout the USA. Our founding fathers based the constitution and bill of rights according to the christian faith. The pilgrims left england and religion to establish faith and christianity in the new world. Today, with the absence of God in our society, we are doomed for destruction. History repeats itself yet we fail to learn from other cultures such as the Roman and Greek empires. China, however, researched why we became a superpower and discovered that at the birth and growth of the USA, most people served God and were christians and obeyed His word. Now many of the Chinese are doing likewise and look at the results. They are becoming the next superpower and many countries, including the feared mideast and area gulf nations such as Saudi Arabia are giving China mad respect, and God's allowing it. China's people are doing what we did over 200 years ago, serving God and spreading the Gospel from their underground churches and now look how God is starting to bless them. Now their yen is bigger than our ever falling US dollar. The US is free falling into an economic disaster if we don't start putting God first again. But it's never too late to pray.

I think just the opposite. By teaching the ten commandments to our youth, we would be teaching them how to stay out of trouble.

The crime rate would gradually decrease over the course of years and then we would have the society that we have dreamed of where we live in peace with our fellow man.
This notion may seem a bit out there, but think about it.

How can you take God out of the very thing He created? Better still, why would you want to?

No, considering that the bulk of the ten commandments are not laws, and should not be laws in a secular society.

You really think that 'no graven images' would make the world a safer place? This is just an attempt to impose your religion on other people.

How about we come up with a moral code that doesn't rely on a religion that only applies to some.

You miss the main point behind laws. Laws are made because people do bad things. This holds true for the ten commandments also.

If the people were not prone to slipping into idolatry, there would be no need for laws against it.

Laws do not make people better people. They establish what is not tolerated in a society, and prescribe penalties for those who would break them.

No... we already have a Gazillion laws that mirror the intent of the 10 commandments, and more. It is the heart of humankind that is the problem. Commandments (or laws for that matter) just point out that "heart" problem. A "good" man would need neither Commandments nor laws to do the right thing.

Because if you did that, people could always ask "Why should I obey them?" and then you'd be left with no answer to that. You could tell them about how it's good for society and all that, but they could just say "Why should I care about what's good for society?" and again you'd be left speechless. On the other hand, if you tell them to obey these rules because God commanded them to and that it's the only road to happiness for themselves as well as other people, then they might accept what you say. So I don't think taking God out of the picture is a viable idea.

God the Father said in the 10 Commd's "Honor thy father and thy mother"
God the Son Jesus Christ said "unless you hate* (*miseo=to abhor) you father and your mother you have no part with him!

God the Father said to rest on the Sabbath...
God the Son Jesus Christ said that the day was made to work or whatever and the Christians switched it to Sunday!

God the Father said... "Thou shalt not covet"
Saint Paul said, "Covet the best gifts"

and so on....

Now the Christians want to put the absolete 10 Commandment tables in Hebrew on public display... That's a very crappy idea...!!! based on Heathenistic religion!!!

I will not abide by some archaic principle that is religious in every sense of the word, and since when does anyone get to tell me what to do,I am generally law abiding but I am not adverse to fighting when I deem it unnavoidable and I don't tend to covet my neighbours cow or whatever the hell it is,nope I wont abide by any religious law...however covertly they may try....
