I can't think of the name but I know in Europe they do not even consider it a religion in some countries.

Also do those folks really believe this or is this gossip?

I was raised Southern Baptist, but recently started attending a Nazarene church and was just curious as to the differences between the two denominations?? I am having a difficult time finding any so far.

There are people here who paste the exact same answer to every question. Never make a comment. Just the cut and paste. Why do they do that? How much fun could that possibly be?

As an example... if I ask a math teacher, "Is 5 squared equal to 11?", he's not offended... but by all rights he should be, for several reasons

1. it's blantently false
2. it was uttered to someone that knows it is false
3. if it was asked by the math teacher to other math teachers, it would be almost laughable
4. it demonstrates that the person asking it is ignorant about basic mathematics
5. the math teacher's entire career is based on knowing the right answer to the question

... and yet the math teacher is NOT offended by the question. Why??

If there is such a person as a Catholic Witch, how do they fit the Catholic religion into Witchcraft? How do they follow the rules of the Catholic church? How do they deal with knowing that the pope doesn't agree with witchcraft?

It's a difficult pill to swallow, one that eventually made me lose my faith. This is not to pick on you or to be inflammatory. I sincerely would like to know how you overcame your personal struggle.

How did you manage to learn to love God despite his form of justice?

as most societies have age limits on what children can be exposed to.or make decisions that affect their lives,i.e.sex,marriage,alchohol,drive a car,join an army,vote and be legally responsible for their actions.should exposure to religion be included?why should kids be subjected to their parents religious beliefs no matter how extreme or moderate they are.should a child not be allowed to grow up and at a certain age be allowed to choose,if they wish,one of the many gods and religions available at the moment.they then can choose what to wear,eat or be controlled by either a pope,rabbi,cleric or priest.they can choose to use a condom,birth control pill or have an abortion without being condemmed to hell. i think 18 would be a reasonable age.

I read a question "Atheist, who were once Christians" and the responses really saddened me. I am not one to judge people on Christianity. I am not the greatest Christian in the world but I try. I read where people say (including myself) how can God let the bad things happen?well Job was put through so much with the boils, losing his family his house and everything but he still put his trust in the Lord.It is true that God only gives us as much as we can handle. I went through a lot (not as much though as others) and i have found that it has only made me a stronger person.I have found that after i put all my trust in the Lord that things have gotten so much better for me.(at least i try to put all my trust in him)Look around you.where did all these trees and flowers and all the beautiful things come from?the scientists will say some scientifical explanation about it but It all came from God.When a bad thing happens in life look at it as how is this going to make me stronger.

I can get an atheist to open a clogged toilet before opening a bible. It makes you wonder. I've been watching this site for some time now. Atheists balk when you say they are not educated about the bible.
