"Pride" and "shame" are of the ego; so are imperfections. I am neither proud nor ashamed of my many imperfections for they have certainly been the stepping stones that led me along to my "perfecting," which is an unending process in the world of duality. They have impelled me toward re-cognizing my true nature, or what is commonly called the "spiritual journey." I am Sirius

Oh! The question is asking for a "reaction"!
There seems to be no need for such a reaction!
But yes, there is indeed a scope for answer.
Please see, perfections or imperfections, the very word suggests some sort of yardstick for comparision.
It is the mind, the human mind that attempts to 'divide' or separate anything perceived, and then to compare & contrast. If we try to get trapped into looking at imperfections, and the consequential 'sense of shame', we would not make any progress further. Stagnation, and pehaps downward slide could happen.
Spiritual journey is unique to each individual, and one has to start his journery ONLY FROM WHERE THAT PERSON IS AT PRESENT (whether that 'looks' like perfection or imperfection!)

Yes, they help me because I have to overcome them and that's the only meaning of life on earth. That's exactly why we all come here as human being, considering we are primarily spirits. Coming here to this world is like going to a school to learn lessons that will make us spirits better and enlightened. This is really a tough school, it is not supposed to be easy to anyone, but we overcome our imperfections, we learn, we get awareness and we grow out of them through several lives.

I am not proud of my imperfections, neither ashamed. I accept them, I am aware of them, I know what I have to do to overcome them, although it is very difficult. I take them naturally. We are all in different boats, sailing wild waves, going through storms, but we are all going to end at the same island and no cast away.

Peace!

I'm neither proud nor ashamed. I accept them as a part of myself. The imperfections themselves do not help in my spiritual journey, but accepting them does.

It's kind of weird. I have been unaware of my imperfections but all the more proud of who I was. Once that I was made aware of them, I became ashamed. Kind of like Adam and Eve. I have been made aware of my imperfections in my spiritual journey and I don't think they help me at all...

I used to hate my imperfections. That helped me hate myself. As I have gotten older and learned more about myself, I've begun to see my imperfections as things that are important about being me. I can't yet say that I love them, but they have been the heavy, creaky door to my own self acceptance...which has been the beginning of my real "spiritual journey".

I'm just aware of it. And- yes my imperfections made me learn a lot of lessons for my spiritual journey.

Yes I am proud for this reason...
The Bible is filled with examples of how God loves to use imperfect, ordinary people to do extraordinary things in spite of their weaknesses. If God only used perfect people, nothing would ever get done, because none of us is flawless. The God uses imperfect people is encouraging news for all of us.

there are different imperfections we have.
Some are not to be ashamed of . For example those you are born with. My imperfections give me a challenge to overcome and to show others that what matters to me is Jesus.

Imperfections that are my fault, like being a fatass, or lazy, character problems are something for me to fix and are not necessarily to be proud of.

just aware that there truly are no imperfections,

it just seems that way when you look at things from a certain (judgmental) perspective...actually just points in our evolution on the way back to the One

from the world of the Absolute, All is One and
Wholey Perfect
