Read the New Testament. Christ will return -The trumpet of Gabriel shall sound and Christ will appear in the heavens with angels and saints to fight the devil and his host of demons. Not in those words but the jest is that he will appear in the heavens. Every knee shall bow and every tongue profess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That is scripture. There is also the theif in the night when Christ is suppose to come and take the believers. That happens first then after all that has been proclaimed in the testaments happens Christ shall appear in the heavens ready for battle. The battle has been won already many believe. That is a short account of what many take from the Bible.

Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

(Why did they hide? Same as Adam and Eve they did not keep Yahweh's Laws.)

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

FarmerCec, you need to leave Revelation and look in 1Cor.15:51-57 and 2 Thess. 1:7-
Jesus will not return as an innocent babe but as the judge of heaven and earth. The above passages should clear this up for those willing to read them.

He will appear in power and glory to judge the whole world. It explicity says in Scripture that when He comes, everybody on earth will know it and there won't be any doubt in anybody's mind about His identity. It also says that therefore if somebody tells you He's arrived, you shouldn't believe it under any circumstances. So no, He won't be reborn as a human again.

STUDY

It is written several places.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

For those of you that said SKY.

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The word "air" in the Greek does not mean sky, it means the breath of life. In other words, spiritual body.

Study to show thyself approved.

"in the clouds", "the" is not in the manuscripts. Clouds means a throng, Paul using a figure of speech.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

He will appear in the Eastern Sky with a shout and trumpets blaring.

1Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

"Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen." (Revelation 1:7)

In Revelation 19, Jesus returns on a white horse, along with a mighty army of the Host of Heaven, and conquers His enemies on the earth. He then reigns for a thousand years, while Satan is bound in the abyss.

Jesus will appear in the sky, never to come to earth again. He will take the "saints" or saved ones with Him into heaven. The earth and sky we know will then be burned completely.

And for the poor soul above that said Jesus said HE would return within a generation does not understand how to read because the Bible says the Kingdom of God (church) will come and it did on the day of the first Pentecost after Jesus was raised from the dead. Mark 9:1 Jesus went on to say, “I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God arrive in great power!”

Ye do err. "Christ" does not return.
You're thinking of Son of man: Jesus.
Pst: Daniel is also called Son of man.
Son of man should repent: Numbers 23:19.
If he came again, it would be for vengeance,
and desolation of abomination of desolation.

That Jesus-->Christ is come (already): 1John 4.
CAME (already) with grace and truth: John 1:17

The second coming of two things "came":
1st: Law: The law was given by Moses
2nd: Grace: grace "came" by Jesus Christ
He taketh away the first(law),
that he may establish the second(grace).

It's called the "operation of God" to remove law.

Which things are an allegory & mystery.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
