which one sounds more like a scene you can find in a cartoon?

2 comets crashing into one another and life came about. then some fishes transform to apes! and the apes suddenly had their tails become short and became men! Everything came by chance!

or God creating the universe, with His powers, and laying down the Laws and Orders of the universe?

As soon as you mention "..........with HIS powers...." you got the cartoon bit right there.

To the person saying apes have no tails-biologically humans have "tail bones" and ON RARE OCCASIONS infants are born with a longer then normal tail bone which can be surgically reduced so they do not have an actual tail.
I do believe in intelligent design and do not think evolutionary process or creation process are understood well enough to declare one or the other as proof for or against the existence or non existence of God.
What is cartoonish is how Christians and Atheists try to bash each other on the head with their points of view on this issue rather then focusing on the here and now issues of world hunger, genocide of populations, a war based of oil greed, est.

The first because it is the stereotypical Creationist misrepresentation -- a typical straw man argument. Young Earth Creationists are so mind-bogglingly indoctrinated that they are pathologically incapable of dealing with the evidence and must willfully misrepresent it. The only thing more cartoonish is their perverted morality where they pretend to praise God by lying perpetually.

It's obvious that you know nothing about the Big Bang or Evolution, so why pretend that you do? All you're doing is making yourself look bad. Seriously, pick up a copy of Darwin's "The Origin of Species" sometime and read it through. I promise, it won't bite you. :)

By the way you've described them, they are about equal.

However when you look at a scientific explanation of how life came to be, only your "God story" seems cartoonish.

Yawn and another misrepresentation. What is more absurd:

A long, slow, gradual process of life and change brought about through and guided by natural processes

or

A magic man in the sky who created you out of clay, who judges your every deed, and who sent his zombie son (who was really him too, or something) to get killed so he could forgive you for a condition that he himself set up?

?

God is the ultimate super hero. Fighting for truth, justice and keeping those pesky dinosaurs down, underground with Satan.
God can shoot lightning from his eyes.

Or, then there's boring science. Boring. I'm so bored. I can't understand it.

The universe has breathed life into you and you want to attribute that to some cartoonish 'magic giant in the sky'?

How dare you?!

The second one--there is no way the process of evolution would fit into one cartoon!

Any teachings from Charles Darwin is cartoonish.

Apes don't have tails. Monkeys do. So an omnipotent spirit being just, what? thought everything into existence? Wow, that makes so much more sense.
