It sounded to me like he said, "Jesus didn't come to earth as the Messiah." Maybe he was having a Bush episode, and he misspoke, but I doubt it. If he made a blunder like that, I don't think the ad would've run on TV.
My suspicion is that Hagge doesn't think Jesus became the Messiah until after the ascension. I think he's wrong, though. In fact, I'm certain that he's wrong. When Peter said to Jesus, "You are the Christ, the son of the living God," Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven" (Matt 16:16-17)
Also, when Jesus was born, an angel appeared to some shepherds and said, "Today in the town of David a savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11).
I've only read one book by Hagge, and I was convinced then that he was a kook, so I don't take him seriously. He is a good speaker, though.

The words of John Hagge are being taken out of context.
I assure you that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and John Haggee knows this.

There will be two types in the end times...the Anti Christ...those who outright deny Christ and the replicators...those that claim to be Christ. The anti christ is anyone who denies, opposes or persecutes christians.
Jesus warns of these in the Matt 24. Also the verses in John and 1 John.
Go to http://www.biblegateway.com and using the keyword search engine check out these phrases (KJV only)
iniquity
antichrist
commandment
law
times and the laws
sabbath
you will get several results with verses containing these terms...study them carefully

IMHO, there's no such thing as a Messiah, but I know that different sects of religions love to argue about this. I'll leave you to it.....thanks for the 2 points.
