Mine is Rahab. She is also an outstanding example of one who, though not an Israelite, by works proved her complete faith in Jehovah. Hebrews11:30, 31 tells us “By faith,” “Rahab the harlot did not perish with those who acted disobediently, because she received the spies in a peaceable way.” James 2:25 asks “Was not also Rahab the harlot declared righteous by works, after she had received the messengers hospitably and sent them out by another way?”
She turned her life around, became a faithful servant of Jehovah's and was priviledged to become an ancestress of Christ.

If Free Trade Churches were established in Britain with the rule they must have no influence in poitics would this help with suspicion of Brtish Mosques to have Free Trade relegated to a religion among others. If material calling for this to happen in Britain were found in British Mosques would this allay suspicions that Mosques are places of extremism.

And how do we know if we are guilty of it?

Today on "Christian Radio" someone was saying Jesus had no power, no authority to do anything until he was baptized by John when the heavens opened and God said, "this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased". The speaker went on to say that before this point, Jesus couldn't cast out demons, do miracles or do anything anyone else couldn't do because he did not have the holy spirit. Is this true? Was Jesus most of his life (he died at 33) unable to perform miracles and such? Just a"regular guy" as this speaker said? If so, this is news to me!! ps it scared me because I always thought Jesus from day one was God in the flesh.

When you shop for shoes, and that shoe store guy measures your foot, do you really believe that your foot size is where his interest lies?

I think you know what he's *really* trying to gauge. The gays are infiltrating and taking over in every way that you can think of.

I don't attack any single person, I also never have broke the "guidelines" but mormons get offended and want either the answer or the question removed. Are they THAT insecure in their religion?

Are you supporting fellow Christians by giving them a thumbs up to encourage them in their ministry? I read other believers questions and vote according to the answer being of the truth. To run on to the next question and only care about my own is not doing the Lord's work, it would just be me all about me and an ego of knowledge.

Is this a contest about points or ministry?

How does God expect us to deal with anger that has gone beyond control? How do I give it to HIm? I'm serious here. I'm furious beyond belief and just simply don't know what to do with this right now.

"The history of Wicca is much debated. 'Gardner claimed that the religion was a survival of matriarchal Pagan religions of pre-historic Europe, taught to him by members of the New Forest Coven; their rites were fragmentary, and he had substantially rewritten them. It has been posited by authors such as Aidan Kelly and Francis X. King that Gardner invented the rites in their entirety,[27] incorporating elements from the thesis of Dr. Margaret Murray, incantations from Aradia[28] and practices of ceremonial magic.[29]
Heselton concludes that while Gardner may have been mistaken about the ancient origins of the religion, his statements about it were largely made in good faith"

and you do have legitimate questions needing legitimate answers but, instead of skipping, some reply with "stop asking", "shaddap" or "that's wishful thinking"? I mean questions cost us 5 points. Should we be giving nonsense replies just to get points instead?

Who do Muslims feel about Christianity in general. How do we all work together?

I have a lot of doubts about the existence of god, but find it too depressing to just think there is nothing. But I also have a lot of problems with all the judgment and rules of the bible and Christianity. But since I grew up with it, I'm also worried that it might be true and then I worry about heaven and hell.

What should I do?

I don't wanna offend anybody, but I'll be honest here... I live in a mostly-Muslim country. The first person who left Islam was hated nationwide. I'm a Muslim, but my faith is almost gone. I don't know why. I know I should just be strong and pray, but how am I supposed to do that when my mind is conflicted? I'm starting to think I don't even believe in Allah anymore, and I've asked for proof that Allah exists from the local Imam. He said to look at the universe and see just what He had created, but it did nothing for me. What if someone else created the universe? How do I start believing again? I'm torn. Please help me.

I was reading a wikipedia page on Banshee's and it said that old Irish people used to worship the "Aos Síd" which means People of peace. Also Ben Sídhe which means Fairy Woman.

"The aos sí ("people of the mounds", "people of peace") are variously believed to be the survivals of pre-Christian Gaelic deities, spirits of nature, or the ancestors. They are commonly referred to in English as "fairies", and the banshee can also be described as a "fairy woman"."

I know the whole mother Jewish thing but I completley disagree. It's NOT a scientific fact, therefore it is not plausible to make a statement like that! My dad was Russian Orthodox and my mum was Jewish, (before commies!). I refuse to ignore my dad's genes. So can I say I'm half Jewish? (I'm not even religious!) Half Jewish but Atheist? Can I claim that title?

According to the book "The Secret", the creative power of belief is a common principle taught in major religions by prophets such as Jesus, Buddah, Zoroaster, etc. Having such a diverse background, how come there are such similarities in their teachings? Was there a common inspiration for all?

I'm a Catholic teen and I always feel bad when i'm watching South Park or some other show and they start making fun of Jesus or representing him the wrong way (like in South Park where he's shooting a machine gun or represented as 'imaginary').
I really enjoy watching these shows, and if it's bad, then everyones gonna be asking me why I can't watch them.

Is it a okay to watch these shows?
