And how do we know if we are guilty of it?

Jesus’ warning referred to willful and deliberate “blasphemy against the spirit.” and said that there is no acquittal for this type of sin. “No, not in this system of things nor in that to come,” he added. (Matthew 12:31, 32) Those guilty of such sin will not be resurrected.
What is blasphemy against the spirit? It emanates from the heart, revealing a malicious attitude and intent. The purposeful intent to oppose God’s holy spirit intensifies the seriousness of this sin.

The unforgettable sin is when John Kerry called anybody who ends up in Iraq stupid and lazy.

The unforgIVABLE sin is when someone who has once recieved the Holy Spirit and God's grace, and then rejected it knowingly, willfully, and become Gods enemy.

You know youve done it if you claim to have been a Christian (and actually were) and knew God, were saved, had the Holy Spirit, new the truth of the Gospel and had accepted it, but now reject and hate God, renounce him, and consider yourself his enemy.

Intrusive thoughts were my "unforgettable sin." I haven't been able to forget them, and I guess I'm not guilty since they were unwanted thoughts.

I guess if there is a sin that you keep remembering, then you are guilty of it. If you can't remember it, maybe you are innocent. I personally don't recall hearing the term before.

I guess the unforgettable sin is the one you enjoyed the most.

The unforgivable sin is the sin where you die not having it forgiven. You are not guilty of it if you are still alive.

Luke 12:10
"And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."

Do you mean "Unforgivable?"

"Unforgettable" could be any that didn't happen during a drinking binge, I suppose.

I think you mean "unforgiveable." It's blaspheming God. So, if you have even blasphemed the Christian God, then you are guilty of the "unforgiveable sin." Which is everybody.
