How does God expect us to deal with anger that has gone beyond control? How do I give it to HIm? I'm serious here. I'm furious beyond belief and just simply don't know what to do with this right now.

Listen to me...I had my ID stolen during evacuation of the fires here in CA. I cannot fathom what is happening in my accounts, my life, to my family...I am SO mad right now. I cannot understand this...it did NOT need to happen!!!! God could have stopped this but He did not, I have to take control and rectify, I cannot let go...I cannot. WHY??????? Why would God allow this and yet will hold me accountable for my anger? Hmmm? I assure you, murder has been committed in my heart, 1,000 times over. I am so MAD!!!

Oh Kitty...you're so cute. I wouldn't hurt anyone...I just want them caught and held accountable for the laws they broke. I want my finances straightened out. I want peace. I don't seek to slaughter.

GoodJuJu,

God gives us two voices to listen to when we get angry are about to do something stupid. The 1st voice is the human voice that tells us in the flesh what to do. The 2ND is the voice of faith or wisdom. It is the 2ND voice we need to listen to before we react to our man made feelings.

PS. You know the voice you need to listen to if you posted on this forum.

God Bless

girl, let me try to help you ok. i would be angry too. listen, this is true, think about it. anger comes from fear. are you not afraid of what the person can do to you who has stolen your information? and because you are so afraid, that is why you are so angry. it is not the anger, but the fear you need to deal with. every time you feel afraid about this situation, no matter how often the feeling comes, you have to cry out to God and say, i am afraid, i am sorry i am fearing what man can do to me, i choose to trust you instead. believe me, i know this is not easy, i have had to do it many times (for different things than what you are going thru.) but if you truly want peace, it is the only way.

Anger is something you shouldn't work through alone. See a therapist or a counsillor, preferably a Christian as you will be able to relate to them better. They will be able to teach you techniques to work through your anger and hopefully, by the end, you will feel much better.
Also, I know this might sound like useless or obvious advice, but pray. It really does help. Pour your feelings out to God and he will listen. Ask him to help you through this time of turmoil and he will help you. Put your faith in him and he will guide you.
Good luck and God bless you. I hope that you can work through all of the things that you are going through with the help of God and through your troubles grow stronger in God.

Since you've asked, Work on developing patience. I presume you have little or none. The more patient you become the less anger you will experience. Anger and patience cannot exist simultaneously.

even Jesus got angry when He found people buying and selling in the temple. It's what you DO with the anger that matters. I would see a good counselor to help you direct and deal with your anger. Are they offering free counseling there? They should. Please don't hurt others or yourself.

The Bible doesn't say anything with dealing with your anger.

If anyone knows what 'God' wants from people, then they're lying. Remember that "God works in mysterious ways" slogan? It's kind of like this.

Salam

Its said to sit down, then if you can't cool down to pour water over your face and head and if you have to take a shower. Sit down again, if you still cannot cool down then go to sleep or lay down.
The puffer fish submersed in water can do it, and its a fish.

The Lord unto thee doesn't expect of you to do anything other than what you are able to do as such. Some can control things better than others and others need some help in patience and goodness when it comes to things they don't understand.

The benifits of forgiveness are for those that are willing to forgive. Most of the time when we are angry at some one they don't even know it or care, so the only one that you are hurting is your self. Stand still & know that I am God I will avange says the Lord. Amen!!!!!!!

Go take a walk... talk to yourself--discuss with yourself why you're angry. It'll help you sort it out. Or make people think that you're hearing voices in your head and call the cops.
