Muslims generally think that they are superior to all non-muslims. It tells them that in the Qu'ran

My Lutheran cousin works with a very nice, clean cut young Muslim. They are good friends who can talk about almost any thing. This fellow told my cousin that in the last days all Muslims will rise up with their swords, and slay every infidel. My cousin ask him "in the eyes of your faith, I'm an infidel right?" He replied "YES!"

This is what true Muslims believe about Catholics, Lutherans, and any one else who is not Muslim.

To work together, it's no different than working with anyone. Just steer clear of topics that cause tension, and keep praying for all mankind.

Your friend in Christ,

Mark

Officially, Muslim doctrine teaches tolerance for Jews and Christians (whom they call People of the Book). Muslims believe that all three believe in the same God, but that Jews and Christians are both guilty of rejecting Mohamed's message. However, Islam also preaches fairness and justice in dealing with the People of the Book. They are not on a par with infidels, which are idol-worshipers.

As for how Muslims feel about Christians, there are over 1.2 billion of them in the world today. They're as diverse as any group of people on earth. Some accept Christianity, others don't like Christians, while others are more or less indifferent to Christians.

It's like any other religion: you have the mainstream folks, and then you have the fanatics. My last boss was a Muslim and he couldn't care less what religion you were, so long as you did your work. He was also professional enough to not ask about employers' religions in the first place.

In the technical sense, they're against the infidels. That means anyone who isn't Muslim.

But I imagine it depends alot on the person. I don't literally stone adulterers like the Bible says, and I'm Roman Catholic, too.

They don't like us very much as we are not muslim, unfortunately. But here in the States, they can't do too much to us in the office.

Oh... to the gentleman who has the Chick link.... Chick has been proven a liar and provides nothing but hate-in direct opposition to being a Christian. CATHOLICS ARE CHRISTIAN! Do your own investigating. Learn to think on your own..... please! It makes me sad to see you show your ignorance this way.

I only care if we get paid on time and are treated right.

My bosses and coworkers are of all faiths.

Nobody walks on tiptoes.

PS to poster above me: Catholics are the largest Christian denomination in the United States and the world and it's not for you to decide.

Muslims R as staunch about Islam, as RC X'ians about their religion.
WE Muslims do know about Jesus & Mary (whom we refer to as Isa & Marium), but we dont rate them as equal to our Worthy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
RC Christians , to us, R Kafirs indeed , but slightly better as the People of The Book.We pity them as Jehannumis.

They don't care. They consider all the christians are one. So they even point the true christians, because of Roman Catholics. RC people have too much rituals out of Bible. So Muslims use these rituals to criticize Christians.

The same way the catholics feel about muslims. They will go to hell

They think, like the catholics do, that the other worships the wrong God.

The real point of religion is NOT to be closer to a God, but to exclude all other beliefs as wrong. That's why ther is so much strife today.
