It's times like these that make me say,
Lord if you see me please come my way.
Leavin bread crumbs for when I stray
Rely on sacrifice and the price you paid
Feel me like a fingertip
(flow fingertip flow fingertip)
Sometimes I fall I slip
Got a heartfelt desire be more like you
Trying not to quench your fire by the things that i do

My life be like ooh aah ooh
Dum dum diddy
Here comes that boy from the capital city
Last up on the Grits new ditty
But eight bars of the truth will do, eh
I believe there's a pride thats stunning,
And I believe in the kingdom coming
I believe if you seek the truth,
You don't need to look far cuz it's gonna find you

That is just 2 exceprts from the song Ooh Aah - Grits. It's a good song, there are some other rap groups out there preaching the Gospel. If you have heard any of it, do you think it's good?

I think it is, I don't like contemporary Gospel music, but I like this for some reason.

I quite often see people referring to Mao, Stalin, Lenin, etc in a bid to show how bad atheists are. These people were communists, not atheists. They killed in the name of communism, not atheism.
So why do people continually equate the two?

This question is NOT directed at Christians or Muslims who believe ALL will be saved eventually.

This is for those who believe that "broad is the road to destruction" and only a select few will attain salavation or that only those in THEIR sect are saved and the rest of the world's population past, present and future, not be part of their religion are basically doomed infidels.

So we're talking BILLIONS and BILLIONS of human souls created just to be wasted in everlasting torment.

All because of a diety who allowed a superior, powerful ex-angel to beguile two humans who did not even have knowlege of good and evil to know they were naked. This diety also created a justice system where children pay for parent's sins. This diety also KNEW all of this would happen but allowed it to support freewill. Then created a means for salvation (insert your religion/sect's requirements here) that obviously only a FEW of his entire creation would actually believe.

To what end? Why?

Why can't they all go together? Everywhere i read, it's 'wrong', except in wiccan articals, yet, the bible speaks about divination, and even water witching (moses). What are your thoughts?

and again, please don't tell me what to think or that i'm going to hell... this is just an open discussion. ;) thanks!

This is just an example. When the question is against your ideal, you check someone spelling and calle them uneducated.

Lets me real, Englisg is my second language, and computer writting cause missespelling because something I may press the same key twice by mistake. I come from Dominican Republic, and we should be realistic, DR %rate of education among high school student, is higher than that of USA. Even Cuba has a highier rate.

It does not mean that every one in the US has a low education level, because stereotyping is a bad thing.

I know spanish, English, and understand some Italian. Everything takes time, I have been learning English for just 3 years. I bet it will be hard, maybe, for any of you to learn a second language in that amount of time.

Is to hard to respect others? Or to correct someone without being uneducated?

When you first got saved and started to read the Scriptures, what was one of the very first Bible verses that you were able to put to memory?

Mine was Revelation 3:20
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

This was the very first verse that was ever spoken to me by a Christian who was telling me about the good news of Jesus Christ.

I am new to the craft, I have studied for two years so I have lots of questions. I will start with this one.
I have never been to a Wiccan/Pagan funeral and I was wondering if anyone could share their experience. I respect your privacy and the sacredness of all such events regaurdless of religion and I am now asking that courious others who view this question do the same.
Simply put
"If you can't say something nice, please don't say anything at all."

Thank you and Blessed Be.

Lol I hear Cain was cursed by God to be black when he killed his brother then I hear noah cursed his son. So God was going around cursing everyone during the bible times lmao what next people?? And where exactly in bible is this written? I want to dig up my bible somewhere under my bed and find this chapter. But I must say, it certainly is interesting to see that some people go to such to prove to themselves that they hate black people. I mean the pix up on hear and the endless text makes you wonder if they even got a job nevermind a life.

Shouldn't a nations heroic deeds like bringing peace and justice to "Babylon" be rewarded by god rather than having catastrophic consequences such as floods, forest fires, hurricanes, lightnings, tornados and other things yet to follow?

do you explain the wide variety of detailed traffic laws that most societies have developed? There's no reference to traffic laws in the Bible, and it's not a matter discussed in church, so how is it that most societies have so many specific traffic laws, and why are they so similar across all cultures?

Is it possible that it is our nature as social beings to create guidelines to live by, in the interest of maintaining order? Don't you think that laws against murder and theft (among other things) work the same way?

I'm primarily addressing this question to Christians who think that without religion we'd all be killing and robbing each other.
