Let me get this straight.

You're trying to nicely, tactfully tell someone that, according to your beliefs, they are going to suffer eternal torment after they die?

Color me speechless.

First of all, you are completely self-righteous if YOU ever think for a second that YOU get to be the judge of who goes to hell or not. Self-righteousness is one of the biggest qualities that will keep YOU from going to this enlightened state you call "heaven". So maybe you could just tell them that you will see them there. Explain to them that you are judgmental and think you are better than them and since they exhibit similar qualities you can make the descent together.

You can however have a serious heart heart talk with someone and tell that you are concerned that there behavior is destructive to themselves and/or others. They have to want to change themselves.

Or...you could stop trying to change other people and work on bettering yourself.

I interpret your question as a legitimate expression for the concern of another’s well being or, perhaps, soul. Although I don’t condone judging someone based upon a strict ideological code, I admire people who are compassionate and understanding. If this is your case, with that said, let me tell you a story and offer you advice.

My ex-girlfriend and I had remained good, but distant, friends. One day, we had a chance to talk, and she revealed that she had converted to Christianity. Our light-hearted conversation soon shifted into something serious. I, expressly agnostic, listened to her tell me how I was going to hell for my lack of faith. Offended, we parted on bad terms and have seldom spoken since.

There’s nothing more disconcerting than telling someone he or she is wrong- without justification. Instead of saying, “You are going to hell,” put a new spin on it. Show care for the person’s state of mind. Discuss, without the aid of scripture, his or her beliefs. Speak and live as an example of your faith. After you build rapport, perhaps confess your concern for the person’s state of mind. If he or she starts following your faith, that person will figure out the paths of damnation alone.

I respect that you believe there is a hell; however, not everyone agrees with you. Tell me that I’m going to hell, and everything you say afterwards will fall on deaf ears and scare me away. And fear is no way to lead people toward heaven, right?

The best way? Mind your own business and don't say anything. In this day and age, there are no ignorant sinners -- we all know who we are. In my opinion, telling someone they're going to Hell is simply hateful and evil. Such threats only drive people further away from religion and cause them to distrust religious people. If you're a Christian and are seeking to bring people to your faith, threatening them with an eternity of hideous torture if they fail to accept your mythology will almost certainly drive them away from Christianity. Nothing poisons faith in your benevolent God like relentless threats of endless agonizing torture.

Can't tell some one they are going to hell and be a christian because you would be judging only God decides who goes to hell. You may tell them all the wrong they are doing that is not judging, that is pointing out sins.

Um.. don't. You have every right to believe what you want and to practice whatever faith you want. But seriously, if you know someone does not agree with your point of view then you should learn to accept that no means no. And trying to scare them with the hell threat isn't going to help your cause.

No one knows who is going to Hell and who is going to Heaven. Only ALLAH(SWT) knows where you are going. Plus it's rude to tell someone they are going to Hell just for not being the same religion as you are. Leave your friends and family alone if they are a different religion then you are. No one wants to be preached at. Remember pride is one of the seven deadly sins.

How about you don't. Just live your life the way you live it, don't hide what you believe, but be an example of how to lead a Christ like life. If they ask you questions - answer them honestly.

There is really no reason to tell someone they are going to hell. There is no good way to do it anyway.

You don't make the decision so, you really don't have anything to say to anyone. Plenty more to think about than worrying who is going to hell or not because you will never have the answer.

I don't think you could ever "nicely" tell someone they're going to hell.

Besides, who are you to judge? You can tell them that you worry about them and fear that the path they're on will bring them to harm. But really, you can't actually say with any certainty that they will be going to hell. Christianity has an awful lot of loopholes where hell is concerned. Then again, perhaps they don't even share your beliefs which would make hell a moot point anyway.

It seems that you are quite unlikely to go to the place that it most desirable from most peoples point of view if it exists, or to an equivalent if it does not.

Or just simply were you're headed burn cream might be useful .
