He would have to become like you! Wait a second, he did. Furthermore he died for your sins so that you could live a more righteous life in Christ. So stop looking for excuses and start living your life for God, because He died for yours.

He wouldn't. It is against His nature.
To begin with, God is love (1 John 4:16) and the nature of love is to give. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son..."
John 15:13 is where Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends."
