Being psychic is not communicating with the dead. Psychics that supposedly "help" police have ESP (which validity is debatable), and this is also called far-seeing. Parapsychology is considered fringe or pseudo-science by most of the mainstream science community.

I'd get "the dead" to spy on people for me.... steal bank details and the like.... and use it to make vast amounts of money....
.... if I had exclusive access to it.
Then again, if it became commonplace then I'd imagine laws would be made against such things, as well as precautions and "ghost police".... and things would become REALLY kewky.
At least the religious nuts would shut up about heaven and hell.

There was a science fiction novel about solving murders by reliving the last moments of life. I do not believe in communicating with the dead for in the Bible, "A man stood in Hell and asking to come back to warn his brothers, he was not allowed."

There would be plenty of benefits. We could ask Hitler all kinds of questions. Same with Einstein.
Though the reality is; speaking to the dead is a sham, like all other such powers...

You are not aware of the use of psychics, who talk to the dead, who help police forces solve crimes. A lot of people have talked to dead relatives in their sleep, it is not uncommon. In our sleep oue spirit can enter the spiritual realm, and connect with a lot of spirits. Meditate/pray, do mind-body exercises, eat healthy, and don't over indulge yourself. I find far more benefit in trying to explain to my overgrown furball of a dog that my blankets are not toys, and that the toys we bought her are far less likely to get her in trouble.
