Chuck doesn't wear shoes- he wears boots. The kick to the face stings more with the heel of a boot.
His boots were made for kicking and that's just what they'll do. One of these days those boots are gonna kick the crap out of someone- but not you. I am sure Chuck loves you, the rest of us do.

He doesn't wear them to protect his feet from dirt, he wears them to protect the dirt from Chuck Norris. When Chuck Norris walks through mud, he doesn't get muddy, the mud gets Chuck Norrised.

What does this have to do with R&S? I imagine he wears shoes so he doesn't burn his feet on the hot pavement in the summer and doesn't freeze them in winter like everyone else.
