Ok, it was going into the rinse cycle. It filled up with water and then just quit. . . .nothing happening. Every once in a while it would make a clicking noise and then a little buzz and then nothing at all. No matter what setting I put it on it still wouldn't work. . . .nothing.

The hubby and I are going to take a look at it again this evening before we go and buy a new one. But, I don't evenk now what we should be looking at. . .and as great as my hubby is. . .he is not the Maytag man, lol. Help!

~I know this isn't religion related, but I need some answers. : )

So for those of you against gay marriage, what if both partners include in their vows that they will cleanse themselves once a month by having heterosexual sex with a friend or prostitute. Will that make it moral?

I know it sounds crazy but my 2 year old has started seeing things in only one room of our house. My wife and I had a big Halloween party and bought some graphic decorations as it was an adult party and we wanted to have fun with it. After the party, we packed up the decorations and now he is adament in telling us there is something "scary" in there, and I have seen black streaks in the air. My wife has told me several times that she sees someone dressed in black out of the corner of her eye. She is so scared that she will not stay in the house alone which is completely unlike her. We have never had any problems until this past week. Please help.

My grandfather said it to me once, and the longer I live, the better I think that advice is. Because a church that spends its money providing recreational facilities for its parishoners (And, no I'm not talking about about a ping pong table in the Youth Lounge) is a church that isn't spending its money on helping the poor, or other purposes central to Christ's teachings.

Agree or disagree?

I am having to write a college paper and my instructor gave me persmisson to use the bible. I remember this as a kid but I can't remember where it is at in the bible. All I can remember about is something like this. It is the part about how people were being stoned to death. I believe there was something about GOD saying "an I for an I" in other words the people throwing the stones were just as fault as the people being stoned for their crime. Now I am sorry if I am wrong about this, that is why I want to find the verse. If anyone has any input they would like to add then it's very much appreicaited. If you understand the verse more in depth than what I remember. Thanks

The (big brains) in here are so close minded. you can not reason with most of them.
All conversation ends if some one mentions the theory of creation.

"SCIENCE IS GOD!!!!" They shout, with their ears, eyes and mouths covered like the three monkeys.

But, be at peace my fellow knowers of Jesus. He died for them too and hasn't given up on them. In the end it is only the Holy Spirit who can convience them. You do know that don't you?
Keep praying for them!

Agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge of the existence or nonexistence of God or gods; or, alternatively, that while individual certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge.
So prove there is no god.

I had a talk with my teen daughter recently about a boy at school that she is friends with. He seems to like her (as much as a 17yr old boy can 'like' given his hormones) and has taken to calling her 'baby' in an affectionate kind of way. They are planning on going to prom together. My daughter says she likes him but she is not attracted to him. Her father's advice is to cut the boy off because its not 'fair' to him to lead him on. I'd say this was 'reasonable' advice IF sex is the obvious finishline but can you see how crippling that idea can be to a person's social development? To tell a teen, dont be friends because you dont want to hurt his feelings when you wont have sex with him. If you REMOVE the 'sex expectation', it opens up the possibility to actually GET TO KNOW the person before committing your mind and/or body to them. Choosing abstinence gives you that 'freedom'. The benefits of which are: less teen pregnancy, divorce, spousal abuse, abortion, etc. Your thoughts?

With congress trying to pass laws restricting other religions, other than christianity, do you think that we as a people should tell our law makers to back off of religion as a whole??? keep in mind that I am including all religions: jewish, muslim, christian, native american shamanism, wicca, buddha, hindi, sikh, etc.

there is no such thing as a bad Muslim, atheist, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic, etc.
you see, if they were to be a bad person that did bad things and called themselves any of those things, then they would in fact NOT be a "true" Muslim, atheist, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic, etc.

i hope this helps you to understand other religions better!
