I will have to say that Auschwitz was the most haunting place I have ever vistited.
It may be all in my mind but the cold feeling of cruelty and death remain there.

The city of the dead in Edinburgh. It is under the Royal Mile in the center of town and is made up of what used to be the old city. During the plague they covered it up, burying all the people living there alive. They started excavating it properly around 15 years ago, and if you go down all the streets, lanes and houses are laid out pretty much just how they were

The Pest House Museum in Bedford, Virginia! (Google for pics). They have an old hospital where civil war soldiers with small pox were treated. The rooms were darkened with black paint (relaxing/calming effect). The patients were so uncomfortable in beds they were placed on thick quilts on the floor over beds of SAND! Surprisingly they had a good recovery rate, however next to it was an antique funeral home-where there was a horse drawn hearse, a full length widow's mourning attire-black crepe dress and even a black onyx mourning brooch. (Hoop skirted for southern ladies, of course.) There were old books with instructions and tools for embalming in that period. The coffins were extremely small, and one of the fancier ones had a little window in the top so you could view the face on the body. The lady let me read through some of the books and my husband had to drag me away from there. It was creepy, but my morbid curiosity in medical science got the best of me!

The Winchester Mystery House was pretty creepy. But there was this 19th century house where I lived in Oakland that had been converted to apartments. The third floor was barricaded off but my roommate and I of course went up there a couple of times. It made the hair on my neck stand up and it felt like there was somebody watching you who didn't want you to be there. Very creepy.

To a "haunted church" in the mountains. Near my college there was this old church in town that everyone said was haunted. Supposedly the preacher molested a bunch of kids, and when his congregation found out about it he hung himself, and he supposedly haunts that church. This was in like the late 1800's or so. He was buried way off by himself in the church cemetery facing in a completely different direction than his congregation. I don't know if all that stuff was true, but the grave part was, and that church was creepy as hell at night! We heard all kinds of weird noises in the woods.

I did a tour of George Bush' White House shortly after the Jeff Gannon story broke. Went back to the hotel and took a shower.

This house of some people I had to do a service call for. It was out in the boonies and I thought it was going to be a Deliverance moment.

It was me that layed hands on Endora. Sorry if that freaked you out girlfriend.

LOL

I've been to dead churches. I praise Jesus even if the church can't get past the cross. He rose and is alive and well!

Hell House. Those people really are crazy. They started that thing here in like 1992, and we went before we knew what it was about.

Sorry, never been creeped out. People have tried; I've been to "real" haunted houses, grave yards, ghost towns, but nothing has creeped me out.
