Yesterday, I went to church late in the evening...I was alone praying and literally felt the presence of God. I could see an image of him and he was holding my hand. Have you ever physically felt the prensence of God? Do you think this is just some sort of image I've created in my mind? I really felt God with me, right then and there!

Is Jesus actually God incarnate?

Or are Jesus and God two separate entities?

If they are one, could you explain how this is so?

Who did Jesus pray to when He was on Earth?

Thanks

God Bless

I'm not referring to your physical appearance. I'm asking about your personality. Do you think that you had no choice whatsoever in becoming that way? are shy people born shy, are annoying people born annoying, and can they not help the way they are?

i think some of it is genetics/biological , but most of it is choice, thank you

After the resurrection when Jesus appeared to Thomas, Thomas called Jesus God. If Jesus is not God why didn't He correct Him?

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

What % of Christians would fully accept that immediately as authoritative? What % in 50 years? What % in 300 years?
What % in 1000 years ? We will assume normal human progress and no new special Incarnate visitations here by Sons of God to speed things up in that time period.

The spiritual test of this would be He the Spirit of Truth Who leads us into all Truth -- Jesus Christ here in Spirit. See John 16:7-16

In the following verses it is clear that the Jews thought He was claiming to be God. I mean He even said He and the Father are one.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Joh 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Joh 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
Joh 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

It's an extreme "what if" but if basic life just began to "stop" for no explainable, scientific reason - photosynthesis ceased, bacteria started to die, etc - seeing as how this would foreshadow the death of all higher forms of life, would you even consider for a second that it might be some "higher power" at work, and consider praying with the theists... just for the hell of it?
(note: I'm an atheist, and I'm just curious)

Or the so-called “leading of the holy Spirit?” Hasn’t this led to crazy interpretations, the justification of slavery and the holocaust, prejudices, 30,000 Christian denominations and the disunity of Christendom? Not to mention cults led by people like Jim Jones and David Koresh who tell their followers to commit suicide? Is this Christ’s way of uniting Christians following his prayer for all of us to be one? I certainly don’t think so.

Jesus prayed that His followers would be ONE.
"that they may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us..." (John 17:21)

St. Paul emphasizes that all followers of Jesus Christ should be ONE.
"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement." (1 Cor 1:10)

Why can’t Fundamentalists, Evangelicals and Pentecostals realize that when we bash each other we are effectively bashing Christianity? We have chosen different paths towards the kingdom of God. Why can’t we just walk the path we have chosen and let the other believers follow theirs for the sake of Christianity?

Your honest, prayerful, and ‘Christian’ opinion will be highly appreciated.

It's just common sense. You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket, but instead you should diversify. If you die and it turns out that Odin is the creator of the Universe, you can remind him of that time you sacrificed a heathen Celt on the battlefield.
