They tolerate some mighty rude remarks about certain religions on here.

Erm, I am asking what YOU people think... I know what to do if I feel something is a violation.

I have not posted any religious issues nyself. I have only read a few of the questions and answers in the category.

i don't think that is the reason. More likely they are not monitoring during these rude comment times

I'm sure that the people working at Yahoo do their very best to be impartial...although, of course, they are also people with their own beliefs and opinions, too.
Just about every group in this forum seems to think that Yahoo is prejudiced against them.
A very well known user once posed as a member of a certain religion in order to "prove" that he could get away with more nastiness then he could with his own beliefs...basically, I think he made a complete fool out of himself, but he thinks he made a point.
Me, I believe in being true to my own beliefs, no matter what anyone else...including Yahoo...thinks about them...but I do try (TRY, that is, sometimes it is difficult) to be respectful of others.
So far, Yahoo has treated me (mostly) fairly, I think. There have been a couple of times they sent me a violation notice that I thought was unreasonable...but mostly, when I got my hand slapped, I deserved it.
The thing is, I can admit that.
OH, btw, I probably ought to add that I am a Christian.

They also tolerate some mighty rude remarks about atheism. I don't see why an answer necessarily *has* to be polite. We should all try to remember that there is something to be said for tolerating our right to free speech.
I can handle rude comments, and worse, so long as they're not personal threats, or child abuse/porn.

If you mean people like you and me, then I see a lot of people thumbing down well thought out Muslim answers in every Q&A.
If you mean Yahoo Corporate and their tolerance for disdainful, bigoted replies, then no. I just think they have limited resources and understanding on the subject and let a lot of "bad apples" slip past them.
I've been called some 4 and 7-letter names on here (with a character missing), had others report it, and the offenders are still out there posting.

I don't think that yahoo answers has anything against religion, they only know what is going on in here if some one reports it. But I think that some yahoo "answerers" have something against certain religions.

No, I don't think so, but its nothing wrong to let people to express them self's. Is only ONE that can pay everybody for their action

they delete and warn about anything that isnt filth or about sex..............its a political correct thing...say what you want when you want as long as its not the TRUTH..........
And people call the TRUTH judgemental....
and they want everything sugar coated and washed down
as to not offend no one............but its ok to curse you and talk filth..but just dont talk TRUTH.......they dont even care if you talk religion..cause even they know religion isnt Truth...
But Gods WORD is.....and its that..that offends them....and they delete truth......just wont delete filth!!!!!!
And its the ones partecipating the most that ask questions but get offended at the truth so they REPORT it...and whine cause it dont go along with what they wanted..........IF YOU DONT WANT THE TRUTH....DONT ASK THE QUESTION
And every OPINION should be accepted whether you agree or not..........unless is vulger or Filthy...keep your fingers off the REPORT button..........and Quit whining over it in a e-mail...
if you cant take truth and criticizm.....then dont ask !!!
