JW's: Is Jesus God?

In the following verses it is clear that the Jews thought He was claiming to be God. I mean He even said He and the Father are one.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Joh 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Joh 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
Joh 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

i dont know what bible you are reading from, but i think that you need to gather some more information. its been a long time since ive been to bible study, but i remember joseph's wife becoming pregnant with the holy one. For that Mary was a virgin. check your facts. Jesus is the son of God. Let me ask you this when you have a child is he/she not a part of you?

The Bible clearly states that Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh. See Colossians 1:15, Colossians2:9 for starters. Jesus also made statements like"If you have seen me, you have the Father". "I and my Father are one". Study it out, pray for the Lord's guidance. The Bible says the Truth is hidden from no man. God will show us if we will look.

I think though from what was written he wasn't saying that he was God, he was saying that he has a strong connection to his father and that through his father he did his works.

"I am the son of God." is claiming to have all his powers and abillities, traits.

So Jesus was claiming to be the same as God.

so if Jesus is a son of God then he is god, but of course not the most high. he is the son of the most high (luke 1:32) and his name is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18)
