Another huge evangelical force; more allegations of crime.

If such criminal actions continue to surface, will evangelicals be forced to question their beliefs, or their leaders?

How does any religious leader, especially an evangelical christian, look in the mirror and decide god wants him to get both a Mercedes and a Lexus for his wife?

The Bible says David wanted to marry the Daughter of Saul.

Saul tells him to bring 100 PENIS foreskins as a token.

David kills 200 Philistines and brings their Penile foreskins to Saul as dowry for his first wife (Saul's daughter Michal).

18:27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.

Jesus also "knew" he would not die, so why do you keep saying that "Jesus died for our sins" or that "God sent his only begotten to wash our sins with his death.."

Did Jesus do as if some quack doctor drank some "poison", then he dies and comes back to life by a sleight of hand?

It can be a candy bar or bag of little snackies or anything ya like. Light exploding out of the bag or wrapper or whatever is not necessarily a qualification for being "holy".

I'll go with Caramello because it causes a mouthgasm. And, as we all know, mouthgasms are a sin... which amounts to holiness in my book.

I just wonder if any of you, while in public, pick on another religion (or the non-believers) as easily as it is done here?

I go to my doctor and trust her completely even though medical research follows the scientific method.
I trust that when I go on a plane it won't crash even though aeronautical science follows the scientific method.
I trust that almost every single technology I use will work correctly because all the research that allows for it to work follows the scientific method.

Except when it comes to evolution, the big bang and the age of the earth for some unexplainable reason I suddenly stop trusting science right then and there.

It's like when I see flaws in the evidence for evolution like that one fake hominid fossil I completely reject the whole theory. But when medical science does the same thing like when a pharmaceutical company recalls a certain medication for health reasons, I still will trust my doctors and the medicine they administer afterwards and I don't start denying medical science.

I've noticed that a lot. Athiests and Pagans especially, even if they haven't said one remotely abusive thing and answered a question honestly and completely, always seem to have a lot of thumbs-down.
Which brings me to another question - do you judge whether or not someone is a good person by what they believe in? Would you deny yourself a wonderful friendship just because someone doesn't practice exactly what you do?
I'm Pagan. It's my goal in life to constantly better myself and the world around me. I have never hurt anyone, and I certainly have never been negative toward anyone based on their faith. What you practice is fine with me, and I'm glad it works for you.

It seems kind of hypocritical to me. It was my understanding that most religions try to teach tolerance and acceptance. And in the religious community, it's really rare to actually see people like that.

First of all, how can life originate from a matter without life, go ahead try to mix whatever you want, you wont be able to get a cell, a cell that is very complex.

You need everything in a cell for it to work, and it is impossible for all of them to come by stages, this only leads to sudden appearances.

The billions of parts had to come at the same place, the same time and then organize itself into this complex cell, that is one hard thing to believe.

How much time in a day do you spend worshipping your Gods? Proforming rituals, casting spells? The reason I ask is I see a lot of "christians" asking the same questions of their religion.

The church said the earth was flat because the Bible said the earth was flat. They were wrong.

Job 38:12-13) "take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it

(Matthew 4:1-12) "[T]he devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them"

The Bible said that the earth did not move and the sun orbited around the earth because the Bible said that. They were wrong.

(Psalms 93:1)"The Lord reigns, he is clothed with majesty; The Lord is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength. Surely the world is established so that it cannot be moved."

Samuel 2:8)"For the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, And He has set the world upon them". If you go to any seashore, you are bound to see houses built on pillars, and yet the houses don't move. How strange.

The church said the earth is 6000 years old because the Bible says so. Even most churches don't this is true nevermind the scientific evidence
