I not really too worried if there does turn out to be a God. But God forbid He be the one in the Bible. If you are Christian, this is the Christian God no matter what Jesus claims to say.

If God did create us we were surely created to question. Jesus' whole role was to create questions about the people of Israel and their not adhering to the Jewish scriptures.

wingedlordgenesis -- should actually read Genesis. Eve and Adam both ate from The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
If they had eaten of a Tree of Knowledge we surely wouldn't be so down on science today.

The priests we have come to know were not the priests in the Bible. The celibacy of priests was an aberration of the Bible that came about in the Middle Ages.

If there's a god available, or interior us, then the question is incomprehensible. we've loose will to have faith what we would like. Religions are guy-made communities of persons who share a undemanding concept. they are cultural, that's why they are so diverse. some religions have faith THEIRS is the only actual faith. yet whilst god fairly fearful or hated religions, do not you think of we would all be believing or disbelieving the comparable ingredient? "Christianity, on the different hand, grew to become into never meant to be a faith." it fairly is actual. yet ,oh how the founding fathers discovered what a administration gadget it may desire to be and is! human beings are grasping. some extra advantageous than others. If all Christian denominations fairly accompanied Jesus' teachings, there could be no prosperous church homes. One in specific has amassed a fortune in genuine property, helpful products, valuable antiquities, and nevertheless claims it desires contributions for the undesirable. That makes me giggle. So who's glorifying who? Glory to God? I doubt it. Glory of wealth is extra probably. Like I stated, human beings are grasping, quite people who pretend to not be. to boot, i've got not got faith anybody has risen, walked on water, grew to become water into wine, or any ingredient. Jesus grew to become into an fantastic youthful guy, yet a guy, not a god. The bible grew to become into written via adult males, not a god. cease being motivated via all the dogma and you'd be stunned what you learn.

God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for us.

John 3 16

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that who ever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

I asked Jesus how much he loves us.
He said this much, stretched out his arms as far as he could and died for us.

There is no greater love that a man can give then to lay down his life for another.

I'll let you choose the one you like the best.

Maybe just simply,

God is love.

You want to make God laugh tell Him your plans.

First, let me say that God DOES understand that you question everything. He didn't give you that brain to sit on it.

Second, mine would be: If people would get out of their own way, they might be able to find the truth.

I would say that if God said and it came from His mouth, then He meant it and I believe it! Therefore, the "Thou shalt not" thing.....He meant it!!
