I just wonder if any of you, while in public, pick on another religion (or the non-believers) as easily as it is done here?

My boss offered to "share" with me what Jesus had done for him. I gave him a phone book opened to the psychiatry section. I hope that clears me of any duplicity.

I've been targeted and isolated for my lack of faith in real life, on multiple occasions by different individuals.

I don't approach people about their choices - I just snicker from afar.

Edit: Jameson - That's the worst reasoning I've ever heard. Should you really believe in a god only so that it benefits you?

Many years ago, surrounded by my peers telling me I was going to hell if I didn't beleive, I tried with all my heart to 'give myself to Jesus'. It didn't work. Maybe this isn't universal, but I've found that if you don't believe, you CAN'T believe. It isn't a choice. Anyone who believes in a god just to get into heaven lacks the courage to be honest with themselves, and the intelligence to properly analyze even their most fundamental essence.

Yes it does!
Besides the universal issue of who has the right to rule this world, your choice in this issue could mean ever lasting life on a paradise earth or ever lasting destruction when this old system of things under Satan's control is gone.

Only if I know the person well enough and vice versa, and I mean no harm and he knows it. I never do though, just out of respect, and the fact that I don't want to try it and it backfires.

I'm honest, no matter where I am. I so try to be tactful, but on a bad day I could be accused of bad judgment in that area.

i guess i figure why not believe? what do you have to lose? my God wouldnt condem me to hell because i didnt get the specifics correct. as long as i lived life trying to be a good person to the best of my ability and loved God i should not go to hell. if you dont beleive in God yay you might be right, but if you are wrong lol you might be taking quite a chance for no good reason.
