What I mean is this:
are any of the rituals from the JEWISH law? Does your church teach tithes? Do you have one person who stands in fron of the congregation, like the Law of Moses had a Levite do? Does your church ignore the teaching of how it is to be when Christians congregate, as taught in 1 Cor. 14?
Do you, as a group practice memorized prayer?
Do you have figures of Christ on a cross? Paintings of early Christians (the 'saints' or Mary)..
Are not the words of Christ enough for us to understand:
Ask me not anything any more, but ask the Father, who is in heaven, in my name.
Where is it understood of that, that we should pray to long dead humans who were saved sinners such as ourselves?

How do you know when you're in love? How do you know if God approves? Is dating someone wrong unless you're going to marry that person? Are fights and arguments normal in a relationship? Is that what makes a relationship stronger?

Please help me.
References to Bible verses would be helpful. Thank you.

Mark 4:
10 When he (Jesus) was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables.
11 He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables
12 so that,
" 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!' "

- Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. - (Matt 6:10)

If all good people goto Heaven, why does the Bible say differently?

(1) Why does the Bible say David did not goto Heaven.
Acts 2:34 For David did not ascend to heaven

(2) Why does the Bible say no one has ever gone into Heaven except Jesus? (Obviously, this refers to those who died before Christ went to Heaven, not the ones select after the event of Pentecost 33 C.E)

John 3:13
13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man

(3) Why does the Bible say those in the Tombs will raise in that Hour?

John 5:28-29
28 "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,

29 and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

That's what the muslims believe. Like Andy Hamilton I'd rather have 72 experienced women. And what do muslim women get? 72 horny teenagers who shoot the load before they get it in? Not much point in that!

to be unhappy with certain aspects of my relifion, i would never change it and love god. Although there are days when I just think our religion says everything is wrong 'haram' and why is that? Why are womens like slaves to their men and why did the prophet muhammed marry a 6 year old girl? Why are so many things wrong and why are women not as equal as men? I am not wanting rude remarks or criticism please as this will only upset me but just neutral comments from anyone including muslims to help me think why am i thinking these things. I am also dating a catholic guy who is not religious and we dont even discuss his religion so its not beause of that.??

I have heard few debates and i would like to hear a few opinions from fellow witches. For one, i believe that Wicca dates back to stone age whereas others believe it was in the 1900's, also i believe that there was no wiccan rede , that every one was just morally fixated to follow the goddesses rules without written word, whereas others believe the wiccan rede is a most essential tool . Opinions and answers much appreciated asap.

If a rock hits you in the front of the head, you fall backwards, period unless you know some physics other than Newtons first law of motion. Did god use special anti-physics magic to push Goliath forward?

48 As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. 49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.

It looks that way:

As Polar Ice Melts, Diseases Are Being Released; Seas Rise

Contains messages from Our Lord via Louise Tomkiel and John Leary warning that due to our sins, chastisements of disease, famine and flooding will be allowed to occur as a result of the melting of polar and glacial ice around the world. Following that, are a number of articles which indicate that (1) ancient bacteria are alive in the glacial ice, and thriving, (2) the melting of glacial ice and sea ice is increasing at an increasing rate, (3) scientists are unable accurately to estimate the effects of global warming and the rates of such melting, as they do not understand the multivariate causes, and (4) that ice is melting everywhere.

What do you think this says about the nature of men and women today? Do you think this has psychological implications for why we sin and/or our behavior? Or am I reading too much in to it?

Please no rude answers.

One refers to the bible for all their answers. The bible is a book.

Scenario:
You are driving down a road and have a map book you bought at the store. On the map, it says "turn left off of 56th ave." When you get to the spot, you notice, through the window of your car, that the road does not, in fact, exist. Would you follow the book and turn left or would you look to reality and keep going straight?

My point is, the Bible is merely a reference and is NOT reality. Some believe it is God's writing but if God wrote it I doubt there'd be so many problems and issues with it.

So, will you ever look to reality or "self" or will you turn off the road because the book said so?
