All of the "thought" all of the "creativity" all of the "time" involved and so little accomplished either way. Geeez. Just one big never ending argument.

Actually, the reason I come here is because just maybe, a lost soul can get an answer to a question that will lead them to Christ as opposed to letting the ones without God pull them into the pit along with themselves. Sometimes it's hard to read what the sons of darkness write, almost like you can feel the anger and evil coming at you, as you read it. So, I think it is important that God fearing christians respond to questions of faith with the hope of helping a lost soul find there way home.

I admit that after reading numerous informative posts on R&S, I've finally "seen the light of truth" and joined the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Arrrrrrrrr!

I grew up Lutheran, but changed to Catholicism in the military, but when I left the military to become a monk, I met God, and left the Catholic church. I am now an ordained minister of nondenominational christian faith. So yes I have had many changes.

Yes I changed from a believer to an atheist, but it was very gradual (30 years). Asking myself questions and trying to answer other peoples' questions pretty much convinced me that the answers I used to give when I was a believer are not the right answers.

Nope. I was an atheist the first time I came here, and if anything, I am even MORE of an atheist now.

Yes, atheist to believer. I realized it made much more sense to believe in God, and also how ill-informed most atheists are. They generally have no idea what they are rejecting. I have read the most ignorant denunciations of Christianity from people who claim to have been former Christians - but from their answers it is clear they never knew the slightest thing about their supposed former faith!

I have not seen a single shred of proof of a higher being. In fact, when I first came to this section I was quite polite. After hearing all these fundies talk, I admit to mildly disliking quite a few Christians and becoming even more firm in my non-belief.
