Please answer questions in various categories from the vantage point of God's wisdom, without needing to be pushy in witnessing every time.
Pray about the questions before dashing off your first answer. What does His Spirit say to you. Let Him inspire great answers!
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
(Philippians 4: 6)
Before you submit, pray that your witness will be effectual. If you get a check in the spirit, re-read it looking for what you should say better, or not at all.
If a Bible quote speaks to the subject, quote it. People love good quotes.
Like: "A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps."
(Proverbs 14: 15).
Good question. Just asking this, makes you a better witness. Keep asking our all-wise Lord.
While Christians love all, we sometimes "dis" folks who we should comfort and aid. Respect the questioner, and all the readers of your answer.
God said...Those who say, "Keep to yourself. Do not come near me, for I am holier than thou!" are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all the day. (Isa 65: 5)

Ask for Gods help.
With truth tempered with love. That works anywhere.
Always pray for those whom you discern are receptive and even more for those who are not receptive to the message.
Lets not forget Matt 7:6
Lets remember Matt 9:17 I think you understand.
So one must himself/herself be saved first!
May it be that No One is left behind. Amen.

As far as violating community guidelines; I don't see it through answering questions honestly about Christianity. We are 'SHARING WHAT YOU KNOW"; not spamming! It also says to keep hate answers toward others off, but I see a lot of that, esp. with atheists. And if we say the Bible says "you are going to hell", that's God talking, not us. I do avoid saying that however, since I know it does anger others. Hopefully, through our answers, others will 'see God' and seek the truth further on their own. That's all we can hope and pray for, and as I've said before, I will continue to quote my source of my information-God's word. Thus the seed is planted. We are not trying to convert, just let others know what we know through Christ. Bless you, too, Don, for all you share!

Yes and No to the careful question.
Honestly, I find that the ones who share their views best, have some, no them and are polite when sharing them.

The same as wittnessing anywhere else.. To speak the truths of God boldly, but humbly without fear or compromise, yet done in love. We must not fear speaking truth> Its up to us to speak it and live it and Gods job to convict. THey may hate us for it, but it just means we are doing the job God calls us to do. Remember many hated Jesus also and wanted Him to die. We are to have the character of Jesus, and to know Who He is and who we are in Him, and have the knowledge and Holy SPirit power to overcome sin, and teach these things to the world, as God commands us to do.
Just do it, in love, but bodlness, and leave the rest to God.
Do it without fear or compromise. Just do it as Jesus did and leave the rest to Him.

I am careful, but have made the mistake of not prayerfully asking for wisdom at times.
The best way is to pray for wisdom before you begin.

one way i can think of is to connect with people in a personal way by being sincere with your answers, and using personal experience or testimony as no one can discredit that as easily.
(as much as possible anyway) (-:
I love this site and it is a good way to understand better the world, and what you believe.

The best way is not to do it at all.
This is a forum for Q&A's not a Christian forum for gaining converts. This is not to be used as a platform to project your beliefs by preaching or proselytizing. It is against Yahoo's TOS.
Believe me, you are not the only one doing (or considering) it. However, it is only the Christians that are guilty of this. We are all firm in our beliefs and no amount of preaching is going to change our minds.

There is One who searches the hearts and intents of men and women. He walked this earth and all kinds of people were drawn to Him. One so holy... this God-man of the highest virtues was able to minister Himself as the Bread of Life.. as the Living water.. as the Resurrection and the Life.. as the Light of Life... HE is indwelling You and I.
Is He able to minister His life out from us? Are we willing to die that Christ can live? Sometimes our passion gets in the way of the Lord's sobermindness. Sometimes our sobermindedness gets in the way of His Passion:)
Each and every person is different. We know this brother. Our position here is to present something of the Lord to people that does not misrepresent Him. And to not misrepresent Him is to Let Him do it HIMSELF.. out from us.
By allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us inwardly... by we ourselves touching something of the LOrd in the word and in prayer before even getting ONTO this forum. Of Looking to the Lord to Give Him a way to respond to each question or to post any question. There is no " formula" but there is this Living One Who truly needs us as His means to reach those that HE died for. He never condemned anyone .. well except the perverted religious ones...but think of the tax collectors.. the adulteress.. the harlot... He did not judge their acts.. but He gave them Himself as Living Water and Light.. Bread.. Resurrection, in order to satisfy the thirst in their being. People generally try to fill themselves with " other things" inorder to fill that void that was created ONLY FOR GOD and ONLY He can satisfy...
We cannot take a sick person and put make up on them outwardly to make them healthy... we need to give them the healthy word... the words of Life which is Christ the Person so that He can have a way to restore them.. to bring them out of death into Life.
This is the true witness dear brother Don. May we learn from the Lord.. may we allow the Lord to share through us.. May it TRULY BE.." not I .. but Christ who lives in me"
Sweet brother.. Lets keep abiding in Him
ur sister
