I dont mind or care what religion u are. I've seen them all. Irespect them all. I was taught to. But where do we go as I've never seen or heard or felt a presence in the hospitalwhere i've witnessed a 100 births and more than 1000 deaths.

why don't people understand the fact that jesus did walk the earth and did die for our sins!

in psalm 14 it says that people who don't believe this will be in big trouble.

what are your opinions.

I feel that I recently made a huge mistake, in something that happened...

I was talking to a friend, a few days ago, and we were simply joking around. He said, "you know, you can be really mean sometimes!," saying it as a joke.

I said, "Yes, but you love me anyway," and he responded differently than I expected--"You know, it's funny you mention that. I really love you." I thought he was simply kidding, as we'd been doing all afternoon, and though I DO love him, I didn't say it back; I just laughed.

Despite the fact that I love him, since I didn't say it back, he said he felt "stupid, and uncomfortable." Now, I feel like dirt.

I sent him a letter, saying that I do love him, and explained everything--but still, I feel so low, because he seemed so hurt by it.

Anything you know of, that I can do??

As a nation(America) who moved from compassionate conservatism to the new and “progressive” age of intolerance, why is it so many of my friends feel like society has cheated them when:

1. They don’t mean what they say, and they don’t say what they mean
2. They don’t start what they finish…like higher education for starters
3. They believe society OWES them something for doing NOTHING
4. They are obsessed with celebrities which are “famous for being famous”
5. Abortion is a form of birth-control
6. Ethics and morals apply to them when they are on the RECEIVING end, not
the other way around…
7. 50% believe a lottery ticket is a better investment than a 401(K)
8. 37% would plan to change their 2nd most expensive purchase they will ever
make(a car) based…are you ready?....a better CUP-HOLDER to hold that
128 oz Coke (hold the diabetes, please).
9. Winning at ALL costs…cheating is now a way to get what you deserve

We DO reap what we sow...even people who hate God.

There is so much acceptance and justification in the Old Testament in regards to rape, slavery, murder, killing people "because God said so", etc. When I bring this up Christians tell me that is why it is "outdated" and why most Christians follow the New Testament. Since that's when Jesus was 'sent' to wash away the sins. '

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it the S-A-M-E God in the OT as in the NT? Did he realize he messed up and therefore needed to send a 'present' to right the wrongs? Or did he see his current plan of action wasn't working? Either way, this means he is not "all knowing", right??

At my school i know a few people who do not believe in God.
I know that for me I had some questions but as i began to throw out wordly things and open up my heart God started to reveal things to me. But what really had to take place wa God showing me who he really was. I sat on the frount row during my baptizim when i finally realized that God was who he is. I confessed with my life and believed with my faith on July 28th that jesus was my personal savior. I know tha it's going to take pray and minstering but how else would u handle this. how do u know for sure that the holy spirt is with you.

The Bible is ALL TRUE. Do you know why it's all TRUE? Because the Bible says it's all TRUE. Can't your "supposed" rational minds understand that?

Hop on board the Jesus bus or descend into the pits of hell.
It's your choice. God gave us free will so he could take it away.

my older brother (28) drinks alot but not enogh to get drunk. well, i have nightmares about something bad happening to him and i told him about it. he laughed and sayd i would understand when i was older and that i would relize that it was ok to consume achohol unless you abuse it. now i am a baptized christian and belive in god and his word with all my heart, and so did he when he was little. now that he has a family he never goes to church and his little son i am afraid will never learn the word of god. the son has also been hearing cuss words from his daddy and mama. how can i solve his almost excesive drinking promblem along with his wife, get him and his family into church, and stop him from telling me wrong? i love him with all my heart and want him to goo to the right place!

How did the animals breed after the flood?

There were 2 of each species left on earth after the flood... right? Ok, so they had offspring.

Then who did their offspring mate with? Each other? That's incest. Isn't incest morally wrong in the Christian faith?

And what about creatures like bees? Bees don't breed like we do. It takes hundred of male drone bees breeding with a single queen to produce offspring. But in the ark story, only 1 male and 1 female bee would have been allowed on the ark. So how did bees breed after the flood?

Answer this if you are Christian, but keep it to yourself for the most part, out of respect for other people. If someone asks, OK, answer their question. But I want to hear from 10 Christians who do not make a practice of initiating conversations about Jesus with strangers, and are proud of that fact.
