This is a really fascinating quiz, full of biblical documentation. Take it and post your score! How much you really know about what's actually in the bible?

It's really interesting just to see how things we take for granted aren't necessarily so. For instance, how closely have any of us actually read the bible? Most of us are told what it says without actually reading for ourselves what is says. That's why it's interesting to see how much we really know.

If you don't take the quiz, then please refrain from opining about religion or the bible or atheists or christians or whatever you feel you need to talk about. Do that somewhere else.

Disciple:

All quotations are from the King James Version. Likely the same Bible you "read."

Numbers 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 are Old Testament laws which the questioner conveniently chooses not to explain.

Very few of the rest are legitimate questions, as the questioner obviously doesn't know jack about the Bible himself.

Number 17 is a blatant lie. There was no burnt offering in this story.

In number 22 the correct answer isn't even listed.

Number 30 doesn't make sense. None of those things are forbidden.

Number 32 is the result of a well-known English mistranslation.

Number 34's correct answer is deliberately paraphrased to put it in a negative light.

I went to this link & saw the "Freedom From Religion" website and I am oficially APPALLED !!! The entire premise of the site is RIDICULOUS !!! I don't think anyone should be forced to participate in a particular religion, faith is a heart condition & can't be forced. But the fact that this website says that all of the major social & economic advances of the modern world were by people free of religion is total CRAP !!! Churches and faith based organizations throughout history have funded and performed HUNDREDS of functions that have helped humanity. In medicine, education, charity, DOZENS of ways. Churches have done some really awful things too, i.e. the Spanish Inquisitions, etc. But to say that churches and or religion haven't contributed is without basis in fact, and just plain ignorant.

I don't need to take some quiz to tell me that I don't know it all. I certainly don't. Striving towards that goal though. ;D
