Have you ever lied, stolen something (despite value), looked with lust at the opposite sex (or same), used God's name as a curse word, desired something that wasn't yours, hated another person, dishonored your parents, kept the Sabbath, made a God to suit yourself, and kept God first in your life? (Judge yourself based on these, the ten commandments...answer honestly...listen to your conscience; I'lll add more once the timing for this question has been answered)

What if you are wrong. Just that slight possiblity that the Christian god is real, and what the bible says is true, should be enough for you to follow Jesus, right? I mean, if you are right, then we all die and no one loses. But if we are right, then you will be judged and surely go to the lake of fire. Do you really want to take that risk?

I haven't been in YahooAnswers long, but I have been in it long enough to see people blow up if they see a question about a certain religion. Why? I don't understand. My family taught my just to accept people for who they are.

I have heard it said that might is always right but I've seen plenty of proof to the contrary so it must be that might is not always right. Yet they say God is never wrong. How can this be?

Part of Daniel chapter 11 mentions the rise of the Anti-christ.

Dan 11:40
40"At the end time the king of the South will collide with him, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, with horsemen and with many ships; and he will enter countries, overflow them and pass through.

This passage clearly talks about 3 factions going to war. South againts the Anti-christ first, and later also the North.

The South isn't too much of a big deal, but the north has many ships and vehicles who fights the Anti-christ. Clearly the North is world power enough to stand up against the kingdom of the Anti-christ.

The prerequisites of the North is: it has to have a large powerful navy. The US has the worlds largest navy. Also the US is from North America, and leader of NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The passage also say the Norths storms against the Anti-christ so this power is capable of conducting foriegn invasion, only the US can do this at this scale.

This Happened on Christmas Eve:
I was at a mall, waiting for the elevator to go up a floor. I felt like a strong white light or a pull from my heart to look across the way from me, and there was this guy I knew from church, and, the second that I looked at him there was bright white light, it was not sexual or physical attraction, but a strong pull of some energy or something towards the guy. I ask was this from God and what does it mean? The purpose?

Never had this happen.

I am by NO MEANS a right wing jesus loving nut job nor am i a liberal. However, i have noticed that it seems like liberals have lots of double double standards when it comes to political correctness. A perfect example of this is that a lot of liberals and people on here in general will bash christanity (myself included). However, why is it that it seems so much more taboo to make fun of muslims (or are we all just scared they will blow the **** out of us for doing so(and for anyone who takes this to seriously i am joing). Why is this more taboo or is it christians get insulted more because they are more annoying and in your face? (Which is kind of my obersvation).

Another perfect example of this is plenty of liberals don't mind words like **** which the gop nut jobs would censor if they could. At the same time it seems like liberals always shutter at any sort of racist of femminist jokes). Why is this? In my opinion, and i am not racist, there is nothing wrong with racist jokes

I was about to move out of the apartment when the lease expired, but the landlord refused to return me the 800 yen deposit. I had two options. 1) Hire a lawyer, which would be costly and time consuming. 2) Threaten him.

So I called him:" If you don't come over here with the deposit tonight, I will buy a liter of red paint and paint all the walls in this apartment into red." He showed up that night certainly.

Should a good Christian threaten a bad guy like that ? If you were me what would you do? (By the way, the lawyer's fees may easily exceed 800 bucks) If you do not want to tell us what you would do if you were me, please don't answer this question at all. Thanks.

when some one claims to be "saved" are they saved from sin, from hell, there problems in life. I really think its a copout for people to sin,
to all the people that think there saved, did you know that adolf hilter was save and he made it to heaven, he kill millions of people and now he's siting aroung the camp fire with jesus and is not responsable for none of his actions because he was saved by the lord.
my point is your not saved, being saved is not your ticket to heaven, your actions are the ticket.
in your answer don't say its in the bible and not give referance to the scripture.

Does it make any sense that an Almighty Being needs to delegate His work on imperfect beings?

Does TITHING buy you a road to Heaven?

What about NOT giving ANYTHING to Churches or Cults, but directly to the people who these churches purportedly "aid"?
