The Bible states that we should loan money with no expectations of getting it back. However, if you loan your child money almost every month, is it a sin to ask for some of the money? Ask but not insist, is that the way? EACH MONTH IT IS AGREED TO BE PAID BACK WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS. It is just so hard to say "no."

In Leviticus 20:13, it says a gay man should die if he is caught in a homosexual act.

BUT, it also prescribes the death penalty to all sin, which is what atheists REFUSE to acknowledge.

We all deserve death, but God was so loving that he decided to send his only son so that our sins could be washed away if we believed in him.

God is perfect and even though not everything that is done may seem to make sense to us now, it WILL be revealed to Christians when Jesus returns.

Christians do not follow the Old Testament. I do believe the death penalties were fair then but they are not now because it was a different time. You have to remember that Moses was dealing with slaves and they were ignorant so they had to have extreme consequences.

Everything bad you hear about God's word is nothing but verses taken out of context.

Agree?

I have gone through the Koran to have an understanding of the muslim folks. But I haven't seen where the Koran say kill all non muslims or kill anyone who does not accept islam. As a matter of fact the holy prophet Mohammed encouraged everyone to keep their various faith as long as the are faithful the doctrine enshrined in their faith. So where are the fundamentalists, extremists and the various leaders of islamic terrorist organizations getting their propaganda from. Or don't the recruits read the Koran for themselves?

I Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, recieved up into glory."

Right there is your proof, once again, that God was manifested into the flesh, was is why I say Jesus was God in the flesh. If you have this scripture in your bible how can you deny it? There are many more verses but this one I recently found.

Who is "The Word"? John 1:14 (Jesus)
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and te Word was with God, and the Word was God." hmmmmmmmmm

A typical christian would say that mankind evolved from a pile of dirt that a diety blew life into. Where did that diety come from?

The sea?

Where did the sea come from?

The earth.

God(s) do NOT come from space. God was formed never and that makes perfect sense.

What is God made out of? Mayonaise.

Your thoughts?

When my son was born, he had Infantile Spasms. Usually there is a cause, but in a very small amount of babies there is none and it's just a freak occurence. Well, since they didn't know what caused it, they didn't know what medication to put him on. I prayed Surah Al Fateha over him endlessly and my entire family and friends prayed for him too, that he would be normal (and is, the little charmer!!!).

I am going to be raising my 2 year old nephew who will be transferred to me tomorrow. His mother is a Christian and has no problem with anything in my religion. I have my own two, an almost 4 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. My nephew, due to neglect and abuse, is in special programs and classes, including physical therapy, for problems he developed from being neglected. Would Surah Al Fatehah work on him as it did my son? Is there any other prayer that is as strong if not stronger than this? Thank you in advance for your kind and knowledgable answers that help this little boy.

A typical atheist would say that mankind evolved from a soup of chemicals billions of years ago. Where did that soup come from?

The sea?

Where did the sea come from?

The earth.

Water did NOT come from space. Water was formed from hydrogen atoms and oxygen atoms that seperated after the earth cooled down when it first formed.

What is the earth made out of?

I find it amazing that non-Jews [namely the so-called "followers" of a Jewish man - that being Yehoshua (Jesus)] think or believe that the serpent in the garden of Eden was the devil / satan!!! They say that they "believe" in the bible to be the "word of HaShem." Yet, they do NOT believe it if they believe in this "urban legend." For the holy torah says that the serpent was more crafty/subtle than any of the "animals of the field."

Again, they do not even accept HaShem's own words. For HaShem said, "cursed art thou from among all cattle, and from among all beasts of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go."

Thus, we can clearly see that the serpent was a serpent, an animal and not satan. Remember, Adam was commanded to rule the animals, not tame them as if they couldn't understand. For it wasn't until Babel that all flesh couldn't commune with each other. Thus, the serpent and the woman "literally" had a conversation.

That's taking the Torah at its "literal" word!!

There may not be one in this entire known world and you know why because people tend to mix religon and politics . And lots of republicans say that they dont mix but they do . Infact i just had an arguement with my dad about this . He said that religon doesnt consider who your voting for but i think it does . If you love god and you are a big supporter of your church , you tend to be christian , if you go to church but dont really like it or you dont go to chuch but you believe in god you tend to be a democrat , if you dont believe in god or you dont believe in a certain god then you are most likely a independent . And last but not least if you hate religion and you never got along with your parents then you are probley anti-government . It all goes together people...

I just had this thought and I wanted to know what people thought of this... serious reply only please :)

Since Abraham, God's people seem to have a knack for screwing things up (all people do I suppose..) so for the longest time Jews foretold of a "savior." So Jesus came, taught, and inspired the new testament...

Now what I don't get it that Muslims are supposed to believe in the Jewish God, Jesus, as God's profit/son AND believe in the teachings of the bible... IF they believe in these things, as I have read true muslims should, than Jesus was indeed supposed to be the last "prophet" before the end of times. Why do they follow Muhammad who basically said "Oh wait, God was wrong, we actually need one more savior.."

I don't get this... could a Muslim or someone with more insight than I please explain?
