If it was God's will for people to become homosexuals he wouldn't have destroyed 2 cities for it, and stated that it's an abomination.

For those claiming that there are homosexual animals - when I was younger one of my dogs used to get frisky with a small cushion chair, and with people's legs. Do you think that means he was...
a) guided by instinct to try to reproduce?
or
b) was turned on by fluffy cushion chairs and beastiality?

Animals hump human legs, stuffed animals, cushions, other animal species, etc. They're just trying to engage in what instinct is telling them, which is to start the reproductive process - even if a proper mate isn't available.

They aren't saying "Well Barkley, I don't find Fifi particularly attractive, so let's you and I hook up." There are not "homosexual animals".

The premise of your question is really weird. You assume that sex has to be for procreation, and that if homosexual sex isn't procreative, it must not be part of God's plan. There's no reason for that to be so.

But since you asked... there are animals that can reproduce in ways that come close to 'homosexuality'.

Earthworms are hermaphrodites -- they have girl parts and boy parts. When they mate, they copulate simultaneously in both, sort of a slimy 69. Are they homosexual? They don't even have the concept of different sexes in that species.

Certain animals, in response to certain social conditions, will actually change gender. This happens in clownfish (the same species as Nemo's Dad in Finding Nemo!) So... if they had a male soul before, do they have a female soul now? This animal was once a male and then it copulates with a male and has babies!

Further evidence that god is a figment of your imagination.

Now if evolution happened to be true then no, there would not be any reproducing homosexual animals. Natural Selection picks the best means of sustaining life. And that seems to be heterosexual reproduction.

But if you want to get down to brass tacks, there are millions of microorganisms and fungus that reproduce asexually as well as homosexually. And there are at least bisexual mammals. Weather they reproduce or not, seems to have nothing to do with god. Who's to say that god doesn't condone homosexuality in all mammals while making it the norm in other ecologys?

That is an excellent question. That other dude brought up the idea of asexually reproducing, but I think he's forgetting that we are humans and not animals. God had His own creativity for animals set aside, and to answer your question, yes, that is absolutely correct.

People don't "become" homosexual, they ARE homosexual.

There are homosexual animals.

Homosexual animals do not reproduce. What's your point?

You cannot know God's Will until you realize that you "are" God's Will.
