A typical christian would say that mankind evolved from a pile of dirt that a diety blew life into. Where did that diety come from?

The sea?

Where did the sea come from?

The earth.

God(s) do NOT come from space. God was formed never and that makes perfect sense.

What is God made out of? Mayonaise.

Your thoughts?

You see things in this world with the natural eyes. Many of the photos of space are made with devices that capture wavelengths you can not see. They are then converted to images and many are recolored so you can make sense of them. There is much to this universe you are not able to perceive, like sounds only dogs can hear, sights only perceptible to insects, smells that only a bear can smell, vibrations that only a whale can feel. Energy that you can not perceive is flowing in and through all things, like magnetism and faint electrical currents. Particals from space pierce your body and travel through the other side of the earth with no apparent harm to you. Some things can not be detected at all by direct observation, like black holes and dark matter. There are concepts that stagger the human imagination. How far is the edge of space?
Who is man that he can question God?

Some yes, but with qualifications Eves actions did bring sin into the world but there is no Ecclesiastes 22, 25, 26 (as I assume you are referring to?) So all other verses you quote cannot be confirmed because they do not exist. Are you referring to another book? I Timothy is talking about the position of the man in the Christian congregation - he is to take the lead in teaching Exodus refers to the penalty for spiritual adultery. This was under the old law covenant and yes she was to be put to death. Nowadays God will deal with spiritual harlots not us personally Edit: I think it is obvious why Ecclesiasticus is not part of the Holy Scriptures - its wording idenities it as a mans personal view and not a Book written under inspiration from God

Hello Jack,

Did you know that scientists have recently discovered that soil contains most of the basic building blocks that are found in the human body?

Also God is not made of anything, He simply IS,. our futile 3 pound brains dont have the capacity to grasp this, but its sort of simple... he is 'uncreated'.

If a body can deteriorate and rot into dry bones, then dirt,, When God made man, it was simply a rapid reverse of this.

God can use whatever he wants, hes God remember.

good question though, got me thinking.

I believe the symbolism is that man came from the earth, and then returned to the earth upon his death, while his soul went to Heaven.

Of course thats from a Christian/Catholic view. Christianity is a relatively new religion compared to the ancient religions of say Rome, Greece, and Egypt/Africa. Its impossible to not assume they pulled from ancient religions to fit their own to placate the "pagans".

I've never had Mayon-- no wait I have. I don't really notice the taste all that much.

But when a God speaks to you, you bloody well ******* know. o_o

Well, actually, this kind of makes sense. We're all carbon-based lifeforms, right? And dirt is mostly composed of . . . carbon, right?

(-: And I've read articles that say most of house dust is composed of human stuff -- like dandruff, skin flakes, bits and pieces. Pretty gross, huh? But it makes the dust to dust bit seem kind of logical.

As opposed to at least 50 percent of the other things in the Bible.

God did it is just a faith not a fact, we came from dirt is just their imagination because there is dirt and there is man but no transitional fossil exist that proves that we evolved from dirt. They have never found that missing link.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.

exactly, it is completely impossible for a god to have existed before earth as they are man-made, but when you think about it, where did anything come from, what if there was never anything, not even space?? think about it!

Humans are carbon-based animals...

There are many others minerals that form a part of the basic human being....

If your body becomes completely depleted of said minerals, you will die...

Those minerals are responsible for 95% of your body's functions...
