say you visited a Buddhist temple and you're not a Buddhist, would you kneel at the alter with everyone else? if a Christian friend cooked ham for Christmas, would you eat it, even if you normally were forbidden to eat meat? if you went to a Muslim country, would you cover up head to toe like many women? if you became an atheist would you continue going to mass because your family does?
I guess what I'm asking is, how strongly you would cling to your beliefs about appropriate religious behavior when the tide is against you?

Answer honestly please.
Would you give up your spot in Heaven to save a lost soul? If you were given the choice to go to Hell so that one apostate, perhaps even someone you know, would be saved and allowed into Heaven, would you do it?

Yeah, this question has been asked a billion times, but I'm looking for real answers here. Hopefully from atheists themselves.

No, they're not here because they're "confused and searching for answers." That's ridiculous to claim.

No, they're not here because Christians/Muslims/etc are elsewhere. Though it is a problem with the small minority preaching in topics unrelated to religion.

No, I'm not referring to people who are spiritual or follow a religion without a 'god' figure.

No, it's not because they're sick of missionaries knocking on their door. This is the equivelant of them inviting missionaries over for an arguement.

I'm referring to atheists who believe all religion is a waste of time, and that science is the answer for everything. What does it matter what someone else believes? If people wanted to believe magical fairies created the world out of gumdrops, who cares?

I don't preach at others, and neither do many of the other poster, so why preach at us?

It involves the worship and reverent treatment of me by ME. What do you think? Am I harming anyone?

Oh yeah, and another rule is that I can't help anyone else. Because the way I see it, why should it be selfish to only think of yourself? If other people just aren't good enough at surviving, then why should that be my problem?

For example, dystheism is the belief that God is evil. If I thought that I was God, what would that be called? Other than schizophrenic. =]

I dont believe people can talk to the dead but I am confused about what is going on here. Is it an evil spirit, the witch tricking Saul, God, or is Saul dreaming or tripping? I find alot of things disturbing about this whole book. What are your ideas?

I dont have a social life nor am i around any ppl. We are renting out one of our rooms right now. Someone came to check it out tonight... He was 21 years old happy and filled with life and positive vibes! Well i sorta sat there and zoned out thinking to myself..."Why is this person so happy" and then it hit me ... im really screwed up and i desperately need to get some antidepressants. I wish god could change me ... give me a life worth living .. i once was a very happy person. filled with life and positive energy ...but its gone now. After being hurt by your own parents/friends and extended family you just lose all hope and soon no longer know what it feels like to be happy.

In John 15:5 Jesus says : " If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing"

Which is the ONLY verse BY JESUS (not by others, if any) in the Bible that tells us how to "remain" in him and what does it say?

"Monergistic regeneration" - the doctrine that the Holy Spirit acts independently of the human will in the work of regeneration.

"Synergistic regeneration" - the doctrine that the human will cooperates with the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration.

I have done "love spells" in the past and they have worked. Or so I thought. The last guy I did one on became obsessed with me and could not leave me alone. I have also cast spells to make me get certain jobs that I know otherwise, I would not have gotten. These "spells" seem to work. but this last guy I was with, I tried to cast a love spell on him to bring him back and it did not work....at all. Now I know this sounds stupid but I want to know if these spells really worked for me in the past or was it just a coincidence. Was it bound to happen anyways and it had nothing to do with a spell? Why did my "spell" seem to have worked on one guy but not the other..... I am asking people who have done some form of magick. Please I do not want any jokes or negative comments. I mean are spells really real or am I just a loon tune to believe in this stuff
