On the last Day will the statue of Moroni atop the Temple come alive and blow his horn?

Ethan, I have not proclaimed myself to be Baptist, I haven't proclaimed myself to be anything other than a Child of God.
I was born and raised in SLC, UT. sixth generation pioneer stalk.
You should learn more about the religion you profess to believe in and it's history instead of pretending to be offended by what is fact in the history of the LDS church.

What's even funnier is that Moroni in latin I think it is means Moron. So yea, it's always good to listen to an angel that calls itself a moron.

This used to bother me on two accounts: Why would we erect a statue of a 'morminicle' (as opposed to a 'biblical') person, moroni, when there is such a taboo against wearing a crucifix or little fishy sign? And I don't recall that moroni was noted for his musical ability either, and horns aren't allowed in church meetings. Now a coffee shop has been sued by the church for a tee-shirt depiction of coffee being poured down moroni's horn. When did religious iconography become trademarked or copyrighted? I though the church would be pleased if everyone knew about moroni. Sounds so very fanatically islamic to me.

As far as I know, no. But then again, knowing whether it will or not isn't really central to my salvation. I suppose if God wanted to animate the metal/plaster/whatever else the statue on top of the Salt Lake Temple (or most temples) is made of He could.

BTW, I would have expected a bit more Christlike and respectful response from someone with a moniker proclaiming themselves Baptist. Yours and the other person's juvenile jokes about another person's religion is hardly necessary and thoroughly uncalled for.

This is a disrespectful question. You can say what you like, but the Mormon faith has brought comfort and reassurance to hundreds of thousands of people for generations. I'm not going to knock any church that does that.

Ethan, you are right on!
