I did once, but he realised what he'd bought. Lucky for him he had a receipt.

Sure, why not; but it has been a bad year and I can only afford $1.50

It is an analogy people, not a legitimate method of commerce.
Besides he always cheats, didn't you see Ghost Rider?

First you have to summon the devil and that isn’t exactly easy. The bible discourages that kind of thinking so they don’t address the issue much. There are some weirdoes who will claim to be able to assist you there, but they are as foolish as the idea of selling your soul is.

Assuming you can summon the devil how do you STOP him from stealing your soul anyway, and what makes you think he wants your little soul anyway! Do you think that you are some great and powerful person that the devil needs your soul? If so then why are you hanging out here not wearing you cape and performing super deeds?

Then if you can sell your soul to the devil, without him taking it and he doesn’t just take it anyway, then how are you going to make him honor the contract? “Oh, don’t break my contract or I will call the devil down on you.” That kind of threat isn’t going to work no is it.

Then assuming that you survive all that and are able to sell your soul; haven’t you read anything on the topic? The devil ALWAYS cheats. No matter what it is you want or how pure your motives are the devil is the soul of corruption (good pun there). He will corrupt your contract no matter what happens and you get to see what hell is like first hand.

Assuming of course that the soul is real, that it can be bought and sold, and that the devil is a real creature that has any interest in your soul, or any capability to handle it. I mean when is the last time you tried to have it cleaned? Have you ever done that, do you even know how?

Which soul are you trying to sell? The Christian one belongs to God unless you have given it to the devil already. The Hindi and Buddhist souls belong to you and to the universe so you can’t sell it. I don’t know about the soul of Confuscisim, but the souls of the ancestors hang out in the temples and graveyards, unless you are a Native American in which case it reverts back the environment.

The devil is an idea to personify evil not necessarily a real person; just like the soul is an idea, and not necessarily real, nor yours to give away or sell for that matter. Plus, the mere act of thinking of that idea will get you sent to hell so soul selling won’t be needed you will already be on your way.

No , it is figurative speech and not literal.

All people that do not follow the true God according to what is written in the Bible are in fact following Satan.
They might not believe it , they might even think they are following God , but if the religion they practice in not clean and pure from God's standpoint then that is the way it is.

So if a person believes in pagan teachings like hell fire , immortality of the soul and the trinity doctrine then they are already owned by Satan..

So really , they have nothing at all which they could possibly sell to him.

In a figurative way, yes. Meaning you take out a lease or loan with horrible terms or you take a job that is a lot more time consuming and/or demanding than you expected.

But I do not believe there is a real supernatural devil whom you can sell your soul to.

Judas Iscariot effectively sold his soul for thirty pieces of silver.

Some bargain, eh?

Mat 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

I honestly and truly tried once when I was twelve. I got a book that told me how to summon him, and one night, I tried. He never showed up. I thought this was sort of rude considering he seems really willing to buy everyone else's souls.

Depends on if you take it literally or abstractly, in any case I would think a person can delude themselves into believing anything, including that!
