athiest means not to have a belief and most believe in a power greater than themselves. A non believer in Christ or God.....some would turn God into G=good, O=orderly and D=direction meaning God means Good Orderly Direction. Hopes this helps......have a great evening...

I feel about God the very same way you feel about unicorns.
They are cute, they often appear in comic strips, and they are completely fictional.
To get an good idea of what being an atheist is like, think about how you feel about unicorns, leprechauns, Zeus and Sonic the HedgeHog. That is how an atheist feels.

I believe that most atheists are evolutionists who are unwilling to admit that evolution is a religion because than they'd also have to admit that there is no science behind evolution. That would be detrimental to their beliefs so they call themselves an atheist.

Actually, everyone is an Atheist, there being no gods.
It's just that some suffer from eerie delusions, and claim to have perceived a form of mythical deity.

I am wondering why this question is in the "R & S" section, as athiesm has nothing to do with religion or spirituallity. Shouldn't they have their own N.B. section?
