Prove to me you're out there. I need to hear from 10 of you, who identify as Christian, but think it's OK to be gay.

I'm a Buddhist and as such I accept certain things (after scrutiny) like their is no soul, all beings are subject to Samsara (cycle of birth death and rebirth), the Four Noble Truths, the Buddha was a man an enlightened man but still a man, and everything is imperminent. so why are some people always trying to ad god, soul theories (which were taught as faulse by the Buddha) and other things, i know its not everyone but it is not just disrespectfull, and a lie but can be very very annoying.
If i added something to your religion wouldn't you be shouting and screaming so why do it to mine.

I just want to hear from Christians who don't think Christianity is the only religion. I need at least 10. Trying to disprove my own stereotypes here. Also, I am trying to encourage the rational, silent majority of Christians to come out of the woodwork and show that the outspoken minority of Fundamentalists do not speak for all Christians.

Religion has certain ideas at the heart of it which are called sacred or holy or whatever. What it means is 'here is an idea or notion that you're not allowed to say anything bad about; you're just not. Why not? - because you're not.'

In any other aspect of human life, law, medicine, philosophy, science, politics, et al., respect is hard earned and can be lost or the status quo challenged.
But not religion. Religion excempts itself from challenge as well as taxes.
Why do you respect religion?

I'm a devout Christian and I think all these arguments are ridiculous! They can all be disproven by having blind faith. Why don't you athiests pick up the Bible! I fear for your souls.

1. Occam's Razor (God is much harder to explain than any
scientific theories, therefore the theories are most likely the correct explanations)
2. no evidence (well there isn't any)
3. evolution (God didn't create each species all at once, there was one common ancestor some 4 billion years ago which evolved)
4. contradictions and fallacies in Holy Books (there's a lot!)
5. the number of diverse religions in the world (not every religion can be right according to them)
6. poor morality and violence shown in Holy Books (isn't God supposed to be perfect?)
7. The super-ego: A psychological explanation as to why people invent gods just as a perfect version of themselves. That's why most gods are men (patriarchal) and the same ethnicity of the believers.(Indian gods are Indian!)

I can think about those ones:
1. they divide God in 3 parts: Jesus, Mary and God which i don't like.
2. they blocked progress for so many years
3. they were against the theory of evolution
4. they spreaded Christianity with violence during the Crusades in the past
5. they are starting to ask for money in the church
6. they preach poverty for the people, but the church makes alot of money

I know that it is reasonable to think that those kind of people are pretty annoying. I just want to know individual opinions on their views of what "exactly" tics people off.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit = Speaking tongues
There is no controversy over believing is it?
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Yet some here claim that dogs are without souls, therefore, cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

So, who to believe here? The Bible, or the Almighty Walt Disney?
