Christians think by stating their god is timeless that this addresses the problem of why do we see apparent complexity. It does not. The issue is not time which is really irrelevent to this arguement, but what we Mathematicians call Kolmogorov Complexity.
The more complex a system is the more unlikely the possibility of that state just existing without exterior context. If a system has one bit the odds are one half. If a system has two bits of complexity the odds are one fourth etc .
Christians claim a god with infinite complexity and no external context. The odds for this are essentially zero.
By external context, one means the system is part of a greater system which provides context for it's state. Usually in the form of a selection effect, but it could also be an evolutionary mechanism or designer. But Christians claim their God, was neither designed, evolved nor was part of a greater whole.
You may think this argument is ridiculous, but you don't have an answer for this argument either. The only answer to the complexity conundrum is not god but that reality is globally simple.

They all work, but number 2 does it for me. If the only reason for believing is the Bible, then I'm okay where I am because the Bible is not the best evidence for anything. It's just an ancient book filled with legends, stories and parables. Old does not make it true. I don't believe in it. Therefore there's no reason for me to believe in a god or in the story of the virgin birth of Jesus or of his being a deity. I'm sorry if that offends you, but religions offend me and life goes on.

I'm not an athiest but I don't believe in god. My greatest argument is that if god were real he would have helped us in our time of need (prayers never have worked for me). No matter how many people tell me he is my heart leads me to believe I am alone in this world and I must work to get what I want, luck/prayer has nothing to do with it.
Plus there really isn't much evidence but the bible...written by humans!!!!! ...Reality: humans can lie and have an uncanny ability to be creative... sorry but there is no way I will believe in god, no matter what "evidence" is put before me.

You can just tell by the state of the world today. Also, god was the answer to a lot of questions we have answered scientifically today. For example, diseases and plagues. In the past, people thought those with the disease were being punished by god. We now know, through science and research, that viruses and bacteria cause those diseases. This applys to a lot of faulty logic used back in the day.
It's obvious that religion was created by man. If it wasn't, we'd all be following the same religion and we could actually SEE god.

1. Occam's Razor. You have the Razor wrong: Occam's razor is a logical principle attributed to the mediaeval philosopher William of Occam (or Ockham). The principle states that one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed. This principle is often called the principle of parsimony. It underlies all scientific modelling and theory building. It admonishes us to choose from a set of otherwise equivalent models of a given phenomenon the simplest one. In any given model, Occam's razor helps us to "shave off" those concepts, variables or constructs that are not really needed to explain the phenomenon. By doing that, developing the model will become much easier, and there is less chance of introducing inconsistencies, ambiguities and redundancies. BTW Occam was a Christian philosopher! God is the simplest explanation for creation, not evolution which is exceedingly complex. 2. Evidence: well, have you ever lifted your face to the stars and marvelled? 3. Evolution: Sorry, but Darwinian Evolution is being renounced more and more by non-Christian academia; it simply does NOT work. 4. Contraditicions and fallacies in Holy Books. Do you really expect teh Koran and the Bible to say the same things? The Koran and the Vida? Goodness, I hope not! Are there errors in the Bible? Sure, but when you research them, they are human errors made in copying the texts. None of the "errors" touches on a key doctrine of the Bible, and the "errors" are all clearly understood in other parts of the Bible! 5. Diversity of religions. Do you really want to make that arguement? The multiplicity of religions only proves that man is a religious being, knowing that there is some one, some thing that is greater than self. 6. Poor morality and violence in the Bible. This is actually a proof of the Bible. If you wrote your life story, you would leave out all the bad stuff and highlight the good things; so would I. The fact that the Bible records embarrassing things about God's people shows that it was not written just by man, but has God as it's author. Oh, yeah; with out the Bible how do you propose to assess "morality?" You appeal to a higher standard that we are all supposed to understand and know, so what is your higher authority? Surely not yourself! Rom 3:10 as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; Rom 3:11 THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; Rom 3:12 ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE." Rom 3:13 "THEIR THROAT IS AN OPEN GRAVE, WITH THEIR TONGUES THEY KEEP DECEIVING," "THE POISON OF ASPS IS UNDER THEIR LIPS"; Rom 3:14 "WHOSE MOUTH IS FULL OF CURSING AND BITTERNESS"; Rom 3:15 "THEIR FEET ARE SWIFT TO SHED BLOOD, Rom 3:16 DESTRUCTION AND MISERY ARE IN THEIR PATHS, Rom 3:17 AND THE PATH OF PEACE THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN." Rom 3:18 "THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE THEIR EYES." 1Cr 15:1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 1Cr 15:2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 1Cr 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 1Cr 15:4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 1Cr 15:5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

Because you have to chose to intentionaly be blind and have faith in that which does not exist.
You arguments are preposterous and resmble the arguments of a two year old trying to justify whay the other child's toy belongs to them now.
=============
Know the difference between ignorance and stupidity?
One is curable.
Ignorance can be cured by seeking knowledge. Stupidity is the result of a person choosing to believe something that is not true regardless of evidence or fact.
Everyone is born ignorant, lives ignorant and dies ignorant. The goal is to become less ignorant every day.
On the other hand, stupidity is a choice.

1.- EVOLUTION. Once you understand evolution and natural selection you see that human beings are not only hardwired for "sin" but also "sin" is actually encouraged and promoted through the process of natural selection and evolution. There Can't POSSIBLY be a Christian god. Sorry Christians.
2.- The behavior of Christians themselves
3.- The multiplicity of religions that have stories of saviors, blood sacrifice, resurrections, "sons of god" and ridiculous creation stories.
4.- The complete and total absence of evidence that prayer or supplication of any kind to god does anything at all to effect outcomes. There is a placebo effect to prayer which may help for obvious reasons, but this is not supernatural.
5.- Neuroscience. It is UTTERLY devastating to the concept of an immaterial soul, but to understand that you need alot of education.
6.- The complete and absolute failure of OBE and NDE experiments to confirm the existence of veridical out of body sight. Lots of people claim to see out of body. Not a single one of them has proven it under controlled conditions.
7.- Psychics. You should have laughed just seeing the word.

As an atheist I do not deny the existence of gods, I just do not believe that they exist. It is those who claim that gods exist that make the extraordiary claims and therefore it is up to them to demonstrate that gods exist not for me to show they don't.
The vast majority of people in the world do not accept that the Bible has any authority at all and have other gods and other religions. You show me why all the other gods are wrong (without using the Bible) and I'll show you why yours is wrong.
