God already gave us a brain to worship him and believe in him because of things around us. People just don't see it that God is truly there. What is missing for atheists is comprehension, sight, and witnessing.

somehow 'blind' and 'observable' seem oxymoronic.

that said, it seems to me that atheists require much greater leaps of faith to believe what they believe than do christians or any other persons of faith.

You really do lump all atheists together. Atheists are as individual as theists. I can't answer your question as it's unsubstantiated. Edit to include some accepted social science stats about atheists and I'll try to answer.

Sure, that's common sense, but mistaken.

Many yogis, swamis, sages, and saints have said this life is a dream...well, when you are in it (your dream at night) you believe that as well. It only no longer seems real when you wake up or start lucid dreaming.

I have blind faith in asserting that believing in an unobservable reality is more of pipe dream than a legitimate way to live your life...but, what do I know, I'm only Jesus...
