I see there have been some bad experiences with marriages & I hate that any1 took this personal but the question was not personally directed at any1.
I am very aware of divorce in the Bible & the ONLY cause for divorce is adultery. Matthew 19:4-9-. I am not so sure what this has to do with the question?

Concerning swearing & divorce:
Matthew 5:
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
33, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

I am so thankful to see those that truly believe in a truly omnipotent God.

Man made marriages can and do fail.

What GOD joins no man can put asunder.

Men do give and take in marriage, one of the signs of the end times I do believe.
Matthew 24:
35 Heaven & earth shall pass away, but my words SHALL NOT pass away.
36 But of that day & hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were be4 the flood they were eating & drinking, marrying & giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Man’s will has jurisdiction over GOD’S will.
In the beginning God said LET there be light, or LET there be a firmament, yet; if it were our will we could have stop it!

Reminds me of:
Matthew 27:42 He saved others: himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Istael, LET him now come down from the cross, & we will believe him?

Just because a preacher or priest says, "What G-d has joined together," doesn't mean G-d was involved.

Any marriage or joining that truly involved G-d in the decision will not break. G-d has more class than to bless a marriage that is not right.

I think the problem with marriages today is not many are
joined by God. They sleep around first to see if they like
it before they buy it, just like shopping for a car. Why would
God bless such behavior by joining it together?

God is love and when true love joins anyone together, that
tie wont be broken. Read all about love as God's word
so beautiful declares it's attributes. Charity NEVER
FAILETH; 1 Cor 13:8.

Because of man's unforgiving, hard heart, the law of Moses
allowed for a spouse to be put away for adultery only.

Why, is God against divorce? Because He will never leave
His bride, and marriage is a type for His intimate relationship
with his bride, the church. He promised never to leave us.

Unless God used super omnipotent glue, people can still choose to "unjoin" it. Otherwise, that would limit our freedom of choice. God wants to us to choose to do what He wants. He doesn't want to force us.

By the question's logic, it would be impossible to do anything that God didn't like. And it's pretty easy to sin.

Also, you've got to factor in that Jesus himself acknowleged the ability of man to break a marriage. "Do not divorce...except for marital unfaithfulness." Thus marital unfaithfulness must be able to break the marriage.

Paul also allowed this: he told women that if their husband wanted to leave, let them. That seems pretty unjoined to me.

No, but they certainly think they can.

How can a mortal logically undue something done by an all powerful immortal being?

They can legally divorce, but marriage is a sacrament, and cannot be undone in heaven.

If it involves something that man has free will over, than he can unjoin it. But, that does not change or effect G-d, just that thing.

Yes it is possible but with great great woe unto the man that does so.

I don't think man has the power, on account that God made man.

Men can try to do whatever they wish, but if it is not in God's will it will not happen.
Also, those who belong to God, no one can snatch them out of His hand, as Jesus says: John 10:29
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

Of course, but God requests that you do not. "What God has joined together, let no man put asunder".
