Yet some here claim that dogs are without souls, therefore, cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

So, who to believe here? The Bible, or the Almighty Walt Disney?

Ok, so it wasn't a Disney film. Humor me!

This is a tough decision. Which gang of logically inconsistient, overbearingly mawkish and surprisingly racist storytellers do I believe?

How about a comprimise? 'All dogs go to Purgatory'?

I'll stick with Disney over the "some here".

I couldn't find anything in the bible that suggests dogs can't go to heaven because they don't have a soul...perhaps dogs are covered by the salvation of their master...or perhaps they just die like every other animal. However, I do think there would be animals in heaven...after all, he created them in the garden so he obviously likes them. If I actually care about seeing my dog when I get to heaven I'm sure he can arrange it...or perhaps I won't even remember having a dog. I've never been to heaven so I don't have a clue whether I'll find pets when I get there.

The kingdom of heaven isn't something that can be seen. It is within us, when we accept Jesus as our King, He then rules and reigns in our hearts and all of us that are born again are a part of this kingdom. When He creates the new earth, animals will be there, just like they were in the Garden of Eden.

Neither Disney nor the Bible are good sources of moral insight.

It wasn't Disney, It was a Don Bluth film. Look into your dogs eyes and tell me that she/he doesn't have a soul. When I look into my dogs eyes, I see perfect love. You cannot love without a soul.

There will be dogs in the paradise on earth. But without souls, none can enter into the Kingdom of God in heaven.

actually, you don't have to worry about the conflicting beliefs. The Hebrew word for soul is also used of the "beasts that walk the earth". So unless your dog is from another planet...
