When you are born your lights come on. When you die they go out..simple as that. Your memory helps others live on but as far as an afterlife..your electric power shuts off.

Since about the age of 12 I have believed in a form of life after death and also in reincarnation.
I think we have certain lessons to learn and we will come back again and again until we learn them. Where we go in between times I have no idea, but I seem to think there are quite a few different planes of awareness, not just heaven and hell.
I haven't a clue where I got these beliefs from as no one else in the family has them. But I definitely don't believe death is the end. I just "know".
You say you have witnessed 1000 deaths but don't know where they go. You've also witnessed about 100 births - try asking yourself "where did they come from"?

Hi I am a Spiritualist and we dont call it dying we call it passing over. The reason why you have probably never seen a ghost or felt one near is that your mind is not attuned to it. Do you ever get that feeling that someone is watching you, but when you look round there is no one there? That is spirit (ghosts) way of letting you know they are around.
I should probably tell you when I go to church on Sundays we dont go to sing hymns and hear a priest waffle on about life or god etc, when we go we sing a couple of hymns say a few prayers and then we listen to a medium (someone who can contact the spirit world) and depending on who the medium is seeing or hearing from spirit, then he/she will go to the person that they have a message for, from spirit, but first they give you a description of the perosn to make sure you know who has come through then they will proceed with what spirit want to say to you, I should however express that only friends and family can come through, nothing nasty can happen.
So in regards to your question, when we pass over we go to the other side, initially when you get there you will be in shock as to what has happened so people that have just passed don't usually reveal themselves as a spirit straight away as it takes alot out of them, if they do return as a spirit it is with the help of passed loved ones, and the people they will go to is the people they loved (husband/wife children mum/dad etc) as they want to check that everything is okay and there not in too much of a state, the only time that it they may reveal themselves to you is if your particularly close to someone and they just want to let you know there okay. To find out more for yourself on spirit and crossing over why dont you go to the library and borrow a book by Doris Stokes called Voices and A Host Of Voices, she was a great medium and you will benefit alot from it, as you can learn in more detail what happens when you pass over, this book is all about true stories with people she has worked with both from the spirit world and on the earth plane. If you want solid proof go and see a medium for a one to one sitting. I hope this has helped you a little more, if you want to vhat a little more about this don't hesitate to contact me. Best Wishes x

can you see atoms? untill very recently (the last 10 years) no one could but they knew they were their through investigation, i dont think their is a soul that goes somewhere else be it another body or heaven or hell, what i think is matter and energy can not be destroyed but they do change (quantum phisics) and we are made up of matter and energy, and obviously the matter dousn't change into a new life but what happens to the energy, throughout our life we do things and everything is caused and has an effect which some continue after we are dead in this life, so we continue living as a different person but with the effects from the last life brought forward from mental imprints due to our actions or karma.

Please believe me when you read this: In the early 1970's I read the book by Raymond Moody, 'Life after Life'. It was from a library. He ends the book by saying........(not the exact quote)......"the frontiers of life as known to man has been extended. We now know a little better.....". He was alluding to the similar type of experiences on death and dying various unrelated people he had interviewed had all given him. All of them significantly had come back from a near death experience and had lived to tell it. If you search carefully on the internet you will find thousands nowadays. In fact, those who had set out to disprove his book had all ended up confirming it.
With that reflecting in my mind, I went to return the book (about a week or so after I had taken it). And just as I had entered it in my retrun register and had kept it in the librarian's table, the next book (among dozens of books in the librarian's table) but just returned and falling right on my line of vision was the book by T. (for Tuesday) Lobsang Rampa: "Three Lives" .......and the note in the last page reads something like this: "........and in this book Dr. Rampa explains what happens to souls after they die......". Of course I snapped it up then and there and read it as also all his other books that were available in the library. This was in the 1970 - 80's.
Unfortunately I have not had any out of body experience or any other mystical or ghost/apparition experience to thrill you with.I am a male, aged 51 years recovered from an MI, living in India. But the coincidence was too real. After that I have read a lot of books, literature on mysticism, death, obe, nde and so on. Life flows on........but I have been enriched by what I read. Of course we will know certain things perhaps only after we die. God bless.

When you see someone die, you notice that there is something missing. The blank eyes and expressionless face. I believe that we have a soul and it leaves the body. The soul carries your ora. Your personality etc. For example, a torch with no batteries still looks like a torch, but the difference is when you turn on the torch.

You either go to Hell or Heaven. Hell is a place of torment, fire, screaming, worms (or more like maggets) that eat at your dying flesh, and complete darkness. You will never see anyone there but always hear the screams. You will be there for the rest of eternity...........imagine........forever. It is the worst imaginable place. You couldn't even imagin how bad it would be. Heaven, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. It's the best place ever!!!! Practically everything is made of gold, and the river is made of crystals. It shines so beautifully there. There is no sun because God is there and he lights up the whole place. There are huge mansions. There are no tears and no pain. But you can only get there if you accept Jesus as your Saviour. He paid your sin debt of death then he rose again. All you have to do is ask HIm into your heart. That's how you get to Heaven. Otherwise you're already on your way to Hell, because of sin. We all are until we ask Jesus into our heart. They are very real places and you can only choose where you'll go while you're on earth.

When asked about Soul Qur-an says that it is some thing related to God.What ever Qur-an said cannot be disputed by man.So the Soul also shall remain a secret to man.
When we die soul separates and body remains. the soul is always in the control of God.

Cessation of biological functions, as a result the cessation of sentience in that life form.
I've worked in a nursing home, dozens of people died while I was there.. Most of which were in utter agony and wanted to die but were made to live because of Christian beliefs made into law. None of them haunted the nursing home either..
Btw, to the people who might say I did not see because I did not believe, I was very much into spiritualism at the time and believed in ghosts.. I was naive in my youth.

Have you never yet lost a loved one, and felt them near when you are thinking about them?
If you felt every presence of everyone that passed over where you work, you'd be over whelmed.
Take a look at this site, if you can. It might help.

HEAVEN! Ive always thought that life on earth is a kind of test. We been put here on earth to make our own decisions, and the ones we choose will determine whether we are worthy of heaven or hell. That's why so many bad things happen in the world, its not because God isn't listening its because we have been given free will.
That's what I just believe, but i just can't Imagen going into non existence.
