That is an excellent question! I have often wondered about women who are widows in those lands, left with children, having no education and not having learned to take care of themselves.
What really happens to these poor women and children?
My heart goes out to them.

They have a mandatory charity tax (2.5% of our income) which is to be distributed to the poor (in their country). As for other "Islamic" countries they probably aren't doing more than what we do here.
It is also because of this reason that wealthy, fair men are permitted to marry more than one wife (under certain circumstances) so that they can provide for the widows.

All so-called Islamic countries are corrupted. I pray for them, I try to donate whatever I can, and I wish that I can take some of their stresses away.
