I did not have room for the whole text....here it is.
John 9:31 "Now we know that God heareth not sinners, but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth His will, him He heareth."
so....if He does not hear sinner's prayers, then how can one be saved?

If GOD wants you to sit down on his private chair(!) in "The World Control Room(!)" for just a hour and lets you control whole the universe for that time,,, then the first thing you do is what...?!
.
Same as always: Think a little.
It may happen someday; who knows!

Obviously he supports it for procreation, you know the whole "go forth and be fruitful" thing, but does he ever support it as a form of entertainment? It seems so flawed that something like sex is holy if it is. Sex is an abomination that has consumed humanity, broken down souls and minds, destroyed morals, and humans underestimate its power.

Without any biased answers, in these modern days, are they any religions out that actually believe in following evil? I mean some Christians will say that Islam is evil yet on the other side Muslims will say the same thing about Christians. But both religions both believe in serving the "light" even though they may be perceived as evil by other religions. Even Satanism these days is different. The Church of Satan which is actually more towards Atheism since they don't believe in a God or Satan, is more towards serving the light. I mean their rules tell you to abide by the law and not to harm children. What religion in modern times is actually about total chaos or anarchy?

My friend goes to church(not Catholic), but the last few weeks she did not. She received a letter in the mail saying that she was not allowed to come back to church until she pays $200. They explained in the letter that this was her portion of what she would normally give as a donation(they decided on the figure, she did not). Her and her husband have had to cut back financially and can barely keep a roof over their heads. She felt very betrayed by the church. I thought that no matter what your social status in life, you could worship God as he loves everyone. How can a church shun someone who is trying to be a good Christian because they can't pay the "admission"???? I told her she can watch the religion channel in our area and get just as good churching as she would get from a live sermon. She watched the person I suggested and was thrilled by him.

Look how MOST of them answered, and how they ignored that I said SOME. See how you guys condemn yourselves? Guys, mere insults, accusations, those are not evidence, not is the force of your hate. Grow up already, think scientifically. You know what science is right? You know what science is right? You love to use it against Christians all the time, talking about it but apparently not knowing what it actually is (and interestingly it was Christians who invented modern science, but of course you knew that too, right?).

Come on, out with your ole standard ranting and insulting tactics. Come on, make your false reports, that's all you can do. That's atheism for you.

Should people live their lives soley based on what makes them feel good, irregardless of how it may affect others? What should take precedent, your self gratification or the benefit of your fellow man.

Were you born into it, in the way that older members of your family taught you the ways? Or was it some other form? I am very curious to hear about other people's stories. Please, if this question does not apply to you, do not bother to answer.

Odd question I know. I would love to live the life of a devout Christian but I cannot bring myself to have faith in Jesus as the savior or God in general. As irrelevant as it is my tiff with Christianity is that in order to accept Jesus as the risen savior you have to accept that God spoke through other men. The bible was written by men and Jesus’ credibility came from the fact that he was spoken to and guided by his father who is God. I don’t believe that Mary was a Virgin and there is absolutely no proof of it other than words written by men who may or may not have heard from God. Why haven’t we heard from God since then? Or have we? Anyways, if I pay a hypnotist to hypnotize me into being the most devout Christian ever would I go to heaven? Technically I wouldn’t have faith so I think not.

Thanks!

I read that millions of years ago when apes hadn't evolved into humans yet, they would bite each others heads off and fight each other. There was obviously no right and wrong. You know...survival of the fittest. I want to know how it is possible that when one of the apes was about to kill another ape he said, "Stop...I think that killing is wrong. Maybe we should set up some rules. I feel like biting your head of because you were about to steal my girl is wrong.
If we are all "animals" and the lion is allowed to attack a gazelle and eat him. Why is it wrong for me to kill? Survival of the fittest…right? And for that matter, why do I know what’s right and wrong. I can feel it. I see someone who is hurt, I want to help. The lion sees a gazelle who is limping; he attacks it and eats it.
Where did the feeling of right and wrong come from?

Thank you for your thoughts.
I’m just trying to figure out what I believe or what I don't believe.

I asked a question about science. One of the people responded by saying that he reads science magazines daily for a good laugh. What an exciting life that person must lead. That would be like me saying I read the Bible daily just for a good laugh. All my friends are Christians and have absolutely no problem what so ever with the fact that I am an atheist. In fact, they could care less. And the fact that they are Christians doesn't bother me in the least. We get along perfectly. How come we are able to accept each others beliefs but every other atheist and Christians seems to think making fun of each other is the way to make the world a better place. Are we just freaks of nature???

then why do I always feel like there is some invisible force working against me 24/7? No matter what I do, whether I have faith or not, this has always been the case with me, as I'm sure it has been with many others.

I'm just wondering if there is any historical record of these people, and whether they had their own "offshoot" church. Did the church of Diotrephes continue?

I'm wondering if there is any historical evidence to clarify how the rejection of Jesus' Apostles, in early Christendom, may have affected the way Christianity is taught to us today...
